I don't think it is going to be a Movie if there is a sequel, and current saga will be concluded in the final eps. My bet that this will have a similar ending as Hanzawa 2, we have a conclusion but the ending will set up a sequel. 14-15% in TVer/Streaming era is huge.

Possible, also they have a lot of unanswered question. Like Kohinata Fumio's character, How Beppan operate (also probably one of Suzuki or Shinjo is a Beppan), and i think there is more on Kaoru's character.

But the rumored assembled cast is weird KimuTaku, Oizumi Yo, Nishijima Hidetoshi and Sato Koichi. No way the first three having a non-leading role. Also it's too much and may consume 2-3x more compared to 1st season budget (100 million yen per-episode).
