It is, only some part are dramatized (like the taxi driver vs military) also Kim Man-sup is died after the uprising due to an illness but they didn't know that until the movie is released.
The existence of Kube is unnecessary in my opinion, or at least his reason to become the weekly magazine's mole. He's rich, and he could directly apply to UDI.
the first half of the drama was interesting to me but as it went on it gotten more silly and the final arc of…
Exactly, and it's better for the viewer to know that Okabe is a complete A-hole rather than he's assaulting the student because they set him up because that girl want to pay for her college tuition. It's also silly to have a dull 3D-printed gun fully functioned like that.
This should be a 7-8 episode drama, the last 2 episodes is nonsense and deviates from the main character's objective. Having the art teacher suffers and The Principal pay for his sins is a better ending rather than the current one.
Also the time when they're discussing an interesting topics (Parents that exploit their child, underpaid but also overworked teacher, or misconception between parents and teachers) is when the drama already enter its climax, the first half of the drama discuss a topic that pretty irrelevant from school's perspective (at least in my opinion).
This drama have the potential to become a good one, but the execution is pretty poor in the second half. probably because they spend their entire budget on the opening title.

"それは 家族なんです"
I think that the pandemic change the creative direction of the show.
