Am I slow ? I never understood that Yok liked Itt before the beach scene. I mean sure, he helped him a lot but…
Right?? I feel stupid because even when ppl online were 'spoiling' that Yok likes Itt, I thought they were just making it up and calling it a spoiler 😭
Because shouldn't Ing be ANGRY??? Like, am I missing something here? They made it seem like they're even now,…
Ohh! I didn't know that they had changed the portrayal of Ing like that, from the novel to the adaptation. Makes me a little nervous to start reading 'too much like a pervert and predator' Ing.. although, he is still a pervert and assaulter in the adaptation, just more charming. And that's a scary conclusion 😭

Oh yes, I understand!! Oop.. I should have put it less definitively. I haven't actually read the novel yet so, admittedly, I couldn't even see what liberties the adaption was taking 😨. I got ahead of myself with that one hahah and you make a really good point!
Fr serious props to the actors. I think even if I don't agree with the creative choices here, I will still stay on to watch it because I can't get enough of them, especially Bank's Ing🥰
I am also caught up in the FIL bubble, it's insane! It's on track to becoming one of my favourites of the year 😆 By any chance, have you watched 'To My Shore'? If you enjoy the dynamic of FIL, I think you will be able to appreciate TMS a lot. It has very similar intensity between the leads and it handles sensitive topics very well. The novel is also very well written❤️

i’m with you on both fronts. yes crazy underreaction to sa and yes the actors are insane🫶 with the treatment of sa and rpe so far, i’m worried about the later episodes since we know it’s only getting worse :( a series can definitely include these themes but it also has to handle them properly 💔
however, i think it is difficult to put this critique on the show when it seems to be rooted in the source material itself
I haven't felt this way watching a BL since To My Shore. The dynamic is really captivating. Also, the rape scene…
YES! I was also feeling the same way about FIL giving the same intensity as TMS. I'm totally living for it, I didn't think we would get another hit so soon. The characterisations are distinct and it's so satisfying to see the power dynamics shifting in each scene. And of course the actors! So expressive (even Yok with his nonchalant expressions has such expressive body language)! Ahh we are so spoiled..
I’m on ep 9 and dropping it. by mistake I read a spoiler that mentioned Fan Xiao ends up poor. Dude not fair…
I can understand dropping it because of FX's behaviour, his audacity really tests you and it feels so torturous for YSL. But if you do stay on to watch the rest, you will see that YSL is NOT the type to easily forgive and forget. He definitely wouldn't give in just because FX becomes "poor". I actually LOVED FX's "poor" arc. It's soo satisfying because of YSL's INDIFFERENCE towards FX (outwardly - he's not really indifferent on the inside, he's in pain 😭). No forgiveness for a long time.
The very best dark toxic BL I've ever seen in my life, wow. No other series have reached the same level of quality,…
Yess it’s so good because the power dynamic between FX and YSL keeps shifting!! In more dark BLs, the gong/ml usually completely dominates the mc and the power imbalance becomes tired quickly
To anyone wanting to read the novel, I highly recommend it! The drama is almost a 1 to 1 recreation, it only deviates…
The way I read through it was reading a couple of chapters and then re-watching the scene ☺️ made me appreciate the acting so much, it really reflects well!!
