I dropped LBC and TT season 2 of both because they tried to romanticize rape which should not be done -- that's trauma, not romance. Who thinks of a lovey-dovey long life with the person who raped them or attempted to rape them or sexually assaulted or harassed them while they were asleep?! I wonder whether the writer of those stories romanticizes that kinda stuff but it's not for me so I had to drop it. In terms of Korean BLs, yeah they really like the "rich vs poor" love stories so that is what we get most of the time - one is rich and the other is poor or not so as rich as the other and so the problem is family against "same-sex" or for being "poor". Taiwanese BLs are more refreshing, I think. I really loved Right or Wrong (HIStory 2) especially because it was a family-based story and I love how they made it look normal as it is and should be!! Same-sex should be recognized just as normal as "opposite-sex" is and that is what I hope all LGBTQ+ stories would do but at least for the time being it is what Taiwan is trying to do by putting these great BLs out here and I'm really grateful and proud of them for doing this for us. I hope everyone keeps supporting these kinds of good, non-toxic and non-rape-biased stories instead of making it look like LGBTQ+ is all about sex. Wish they include more love and more feelings and show the world that love can have between anyone anytime and that is what is normal -- not just sex. Well in conclusion, again, kudos to Taiwan and "fighting!" to keep on making good BLs and giving them to us.
