Okay so this is totally irrelevant but I ran out of BLs to watch and was watching weekly idol episode 220 with GOT7 and felt like I was watching a BL like wow... there wasn't any cringe while doing that... probably might cast Jackson as BL lead if possible

We all be crying over them and there was one of my friend's telling me she cracked up when she was shouting in Japanese because she was sipping on her water and suddenly heard him shout in Japanese and thought "tf it auto turned to Japanese" and then realised it was just Shu Yi shouting in Japanese

I love this entire discussion you guys are having here -- has a lot of insight to the story -- I personally support YU a lot because after finding out that he's an introvert I feel scared that if he gets hate he will go back to his cocoon because he has some really great talent for acting and singing. So for the time being I'm biased to support YU with all I've got.
About the "I'm only gay for you" trope -- I'm tired of it too -- anymore of that and I'm done with BLs -- why can't they just say they're not straight instead of saying "I'm gay for you" I really hate that but Shu Yi said it differently here or something -- like "I have no other choice" meaning "I fell in love with you. I had no control over the way I was feeling so now it's got to be you" -- I wonder if I'm making this up I'm in my head but I feel like what Shu Yi said changed a few things about the "I'm only gay for you" trope to "I fell for you and it was out of my control. It could have been anyone but I had no other choice because it ended up being you".
Most of the BLs don't portray real life gay couples because BLs are mostly aimed at girls who fetishize romance between cute guys when in reality being gay is different. Imagine saying "I'm a lesbian for you"? Yuck! There is no such thing that you only change your sexual preference for one person while being another sexuality for everyone else. Where do these people even get that silly idea from? -- I wonder if it is because of the pronouns sometimes that people think they can go around switching between sexuality in front of people -- "I'm straight for you but I'm gay for him" because pronouns can be he/they or she/they so people think they can also switch sexuality -- what a joke!?!?! Do they not know difference between pronouns and sexuality or something?!?! Anyway my personal thoughts and from most of the things I know, all these BLs are for the creepy girls at the front squealing every second two guys get close together while some real "BL" like Manner of Death is for those of us at the back wishing the world released more of MEN'S love instead of BOYS love -- real gay instead of make-believe gay. "I pray we get more reality than creepy make-believes. AMEN."

Shu Yi's

YU is not so fluent in Mandarin so obviously he tries his best to do his job well but even so it is beautiful to hear him speak Japanese -- we love mixes!! And people love it because most of us international fans do not understand either language though we can tell the languages apart and we find it cute and amazing how he can switch between languages -- I hope people don't hate on him-- he's such a softie

I totally agree... even MODC had it's own meaning and all of these Taiwanese BLs come from some sort of really great background and it proves when you look at these series

And Sam's actual self coming out when he was in the infirmary with the doc when he said "Busted" -- that man's worth so much for that expression -- he went from "Sam" to "Shi De" so fast -- gotta love him so much

And during Shu Yi's memory lane marathon, they show us how Shi De smiled when Shu Yi rested his(Shu Yi) head oh his(Shi De) shoulder -- does that mean Shu Yi knew what he did?!?! SHU YI KNEW HE RESTED ON SHI DE'S SHOULDER WILLINGLY?!?!?!?! What was he thinking while doing that?!?!?! He's gotta admit he did what he did because he wanted to do and he had some sort of feeling for Shi De while doing that!! No one goes around resting their shoulder on their forever rival like wtf?!!?!?!

The reason why Shu Yi asked Shi De whether he was still the lucky one was because Shi De told him that the best way to fix a broken heart is by falling in love again and Shu Yi thought Shi De might be in love with someone else -- why are the pieces coming together one by one when I rewatch the episodes T___T

And the reordered version of Alex's song when Shi De was about to leave the infirmary set the mood so good -- I'm crying again

The power and strength I felt through Shu Yi that when he literally grabbed Shi De's neck and kissed him hard like "Get back to reality! I fuc*ing love you! I'm in love with you! Get it already!" is so strong -- I'm speechless
