lmao i literally finished the show like a day after i posted this and i rated it pretty well, but i stand by my original statement. my thoughts have not changed on this particular point. so oh well.

ALSO they’re all supposed to be uber rich but couldn’t loan their friend the 100,000 baht which is a measly 3,000 bucks usd??? like ok

also the popcorn scene… incredibly odd. whole series was just camp. it was entertaining. got some harsh critics on this here site. i’ve seen many a series that warrants a 6.2 rating and this is not one.

the rating is actually kinda insane. if you can get past all the gratuitous sex in the beginning (i mean the story is pretty much about how people’s relationship with sex affects their lives, so its not all irrelevant), then this is a pretty engaging series. not sure why this has such an abysmal rating. besides the weird amount of english lines and them having to dub over scenes back to thai (probably bc the english was so incoherent) and the shaky character motivations (like i’m still questioning why some of them chose to do the things they did), its a pretty well plotted series. hopefully next season answers the remaining questions. i’d give it a solid 8.5

do you know how offended i would i be if i put in all that work, the many years of schooling and training, to become a doctor, and some man made me his assistant?? i would be irate. looks like i’ll be suspending belief in order to watch this one.

at then end when BL was telling all his plushies gm and then revealed JXA and told him bb gm i swear i kicked my feet like a schoolgirl this was actually so cute i had such low expectations going into it so i was pleasantly surprised by how much i enjoyed it!

does this follow the 3rd book at all

yeah no i def would be angrier at my friend than my significant other in a case like this. like i said, i wouldn’t forgive either. i just especially hate when the s.o. is forgiven.

the fl’s hair and outfits were everything in this. the styling for her every episode was absolutely chef’s kiss.

omg thats a major annoyance of mine! when people forgive their partner but not the friend. i mean personally, i wouldn’t forgive either one, but i hate the hypocrisy of forgiving the significant other but not your friend.

topmew were boring ash i did not care about their relationship/storylines at all. probably bc cheating is a hard stop for me. would've loved if the time that was spent on them getting back together was put into ray having more character development. him focusing on therapy for his traumas and addiction, acknowledging that he was a terrible friend to both mew and sand, etc. also could have given aprilcheum more screentime. really only loved that nick chose himself in the end. other than that, pretty underwhelming finish to say the least.

probably because force's acting seems so fake and, dare i say, forced. no pun intended.

i honestly couldn't care less about top and mew's romance.

like i love a good enemies to lovers trope, but flat out bullying raises my blood pressure.

hate the bully to romance trope with a burning passion. the bully always does something outta pocket and irredeemable. the bullied love interest always forgives too easily. lets see if this one manages to subvert my expectations and give us something new.

would’ve rated this a 10 if he wasn’t all “you’re not like other girls” the entire time. also felt like it was a bit ooc for miran to be moved by a sentiment like that. i lowkey feel like he still thinks all women are trash human beings, with the exception of miran. was still a fun watch tho. loved miran and soojin.
