The plot was engaging, and LYN and Song Er were fantastic in this drama.
The Prince of Beauty is the second-best WuXia drama that I have seen this year, along with the Legend of Zang Hai starring Xiao Zhan.
Liu Yi Ning and Song Er have the best on-screen chemistry as they play Wei Xiao and Qiao Man, the main couple. The acting is exceptional for the entire ensemble, and Song Er was outstanding in this drama. Her character was smart, devoted, and witty. The supporting characters are also lovely to watch.
I love this drama; it kept me engaged, and the pace was perfect.
Synopsis: Xiao Qiao, a clever girl from the Qiao family, marries Wei Shao, the sharp and kind master of the Wei family, as part of a family alliance. With bad blood between their clans, the two start off wary of each other, constantly testing boundaries in both funny and tense ways. Over time, they begin to appreciate each other's quirks and talents. Through ups and downs, they learn to work as a team, tackling family drama and bigger issues to bring some peace to their world. It is a story of partnership built through trial, error, and a bit of chaos.
My Reviews:
1. Acting: 9
2. Script: 8
3. Music/OST: 8
4. Production Quality: 8
5. Cinematography: 7
6. Rewatchable: 8
7. On-Screen Chemistry: 9
Overall Rating: 8.5
