A good family story with beautiful cinematography

Fragrance of the Pomegranates** is a contemporary Chinese drama (C-Drama) that tells the story of an indigenous family who adopts and raises a Chinese boy. When his adoptive mother falls ill, he returns home. He collaborates with the local community to revive his mother's restaurant, discovering love along the way.

Synopsis: Ming Liang is a young man pursuing his artistic dreams in the city. He returns to his hometown at the foot of the Tianshan Mountains to care for his ailing adoptive mother, Ai Yi Sha. In an effort to revive Ai Yi Sha's restaurant, "Red Pomegranate," Ming Liang takes on a challenge from Michelin chef An Dong. As he grows through this experience, he also works to improve the restaurant's poor management. Inspired by the courageous, dream-chasing stories of those around him, including technician Li Guang Tian and social worker Wu La Si, Ming Liang clarifies his life's direction: he aims to promote Xinjiang's culinary culture. During his journey, he meets Gu Li Na Er, the independent and spirited leader of an animal protection organization, and develops feelings for her. However, Gu Li Na Er is solely focused on her career and has no intention of dating. Through his unique life wisdom and perspective, Ming Liang gradually opens Gu Li Na Er's heart.
