Love everything you said. The ending was a double heart break for me or more like three, when YY died, when YD died and when Yumo was left crying after their deaths. There will be two more episodes so we might get a HEA after all.

That's a good viewpoint. I would be so sad for Yumo who would have to wait so long to see them again, but he did spend 800 years looking for YD in the mortal realm.

Ok my mind has started to turn and I have some ideas of how our HEA can come to be. Yumo could take their souls (that's what it looked like at the end those beam of small lights) to the Night Forgetting River and have them be born as mortals. Maybe the HE could help with that and force them to reincarnate or maybe he can give them new bodies. I think YD sacrificed herself to be with YY but also to keep his soul from truly disappearing and they together went into the agarwood. What are your ideas everyone?

The first four episodes drained me, they were throwing all this back exposition about the bad characters that I frankly didn't care about. They killed so many people for their greed and dared to try and justify it as love. Couldn't wait to finally see the villain(s) die. Did take a break before watching the last 2 episodes. The scene of YY with his dad was so sad yet heartwarming. The ending broke me but there are 2 more episodes and I know they will fix it. Yumo will find a way!!!! He needs them both in his life and they deserve a HE. Youku I believe in you!!

Yes that was a lovely scene, she got to finally find out half or most of all the things he did for her.

Yes poor Yumo. My heart broke for all three, but Yumo is the one who stayed behind to morn both of them. Looking forward to the 2 extra episodes. I saw Yumo crying and hugging that agarwood in a closing bts video so there must be more.

I just had a thought, YY is more like his mother in the sense that he keeps his feelings to himself most of the time and TZ is more like his father, very expressive and falls in love right away lol Aw poor YY he has both his parent's personalities.

Yes, it is a very very slow burn. I have held on because of the small hints they drop here and there and those low key looks and gazes lol Wish it would pick up the pace a bit especially since it is already halfway done.

I agree, I was so disappointed to see that the ML's female partner didn't trust him nor understand him at all. Whatever road she goes down is her own doing. He tried to warn her.
