This drama was absolutely HILARIOUS!! The main characters, supporting characters did a wonderful job in portraying such a beautiful story. I also cannot express the amount of love I have towards Shin Hye Sun as she carried out such a versatile role as Kim So Yong. Kim Jung Hyun did a great job playing his role as well, I could really see his character development throughout the story. He evokes the inner emotions of his character in various situations, especially when he is angry, and shouts you can really the grave passion resonating within his character. A few characters other than the King had tremendous development throughout the drama. Jo Hwa In was able to differentiate herself as she was slowly treading to the evil path in contrast with her good self unlike most wrongful characters in historical dramas. Other than the characters, the story was pretty good as well, while it was pretty draggy at some parts (not so much), the pacing throughout was quite smooth.
Although this is just a gist of what I liked throughout the drama, you would have to watch it on your own to form your own opinions on it :-)

I kind of get what you were saying, I felt bad for Seojun throughout most of the drama though he never really had a chance to tell Jukyung how he felt and by the time he told her she rejects him and goes to Suho.
Honestly, I did not like this drama for the cliched romance. HOWEVER, The supporting characters were the ones that gave me everything I needed. They were FREAKING HILARIOUS. I seriously could not stop laughing at the scenes with Lim Joo Gyung's family. The whole family dynamic was wholesome and crazily cute. (It was very enviable, not gonna lie :-) ** If you watch this drama, you will get severe SLS. The love triangle is too hard to deal with, you will notice it once you start it. (JUST WATCH OUT)
I don't know why but I felt like this story was not really for me. I think the revenge aspect to it was dragged too much throughout the story. Although the chemistry between Yaya and Mark was off the charts, the storyline did not really catch my eye. Anyways..... that's just my opinion, can any of you recommend any lakorn that has good chemistry between the main leads?
