ep 31 - you can tell here how Ji Xing has no head for business and Han Ting's buss acumen is superior. You could tell from the beginning Ji Xing was a novice but she proved it here... she's in this protected bubble she has no idea she's in.... after this will stop watching til it finishes... Seven's acting was a bit low par here, her pointing didn't feel right and I didn't really feel her despair... don't know if that's because I didn't sympathise with her or her acting lacked authenticity

I don't really find her evil... she has no self-awareness for that. She's annoying, frustrating, embarrassing, unreasonable - cries after things which don't belong to her eg house, blames her hubby incessantly for their current financial situation, nags the daughter to get married just to bring her status up in the hierarchy ladder and to get money out of it, selfish, delusional - doesn't think she's wrong in her reasoning, overbearing, rude, throws her daughter under the bus whenever the subject of marriage is brought up, never stands up for her unless it's in some inappropriate way, sulks when she doesn't get her way, whines etc did I leave anything out? I could go on... basically her meaning well don't make up for any of her bad behaviour... needless to say, I ffwd every scene of hers

me too... I found him to be flat in the other dramas. Even with Yang Zi in BCE, even though I loved the drama but that was cos of Yang Zi... not sure if it's his response to Seven but this is my fav role of his so far
