ep 24 - really wished we saw Bai Le getting the cane, would've loved that! Twice now he's been to the Emperor impulsively without evidence. I wish he had died instead of the General! Frustrating watching!

I'm finding myself ffwding all of Bie Li and Sai Er's scenes. Both are overacting and characters are too dumb and annoying. Him shouting every time he speaks is too much too. Suoluo is just as annoying.

Yes! Those veneers are the only things that stand out! And he speaks and smiles like he wants to show them off! Very distracting!

Rose is my new girl crush... I don't think I've liked a character more... her growth thruout was realistic and her bravery in the face if every adversity was inspirational... btw what a gorgeous woman!!! Kudos to the writers for daring to have such a character and being with 4 guys in a classy way!

just rewatched and I totally agree! The acting talent is there but I had a problem with the direction and dialogue. It was a frustrating watch at times due to thw repetitiveness of the issues they faced.. came up against the same thing and they tried to solve it the same way expecting the result to be different... the FL character was frustrating with the guilt trope that plagues every drama... even tho I still liked it, I'm lowering my score. First time I watched, I was probably blinded by the ML lol but moved on lol

What's with the need of every cdrama to pair off every male and female so you'd have 3 or 4 couples every damn time?! Couldn't stand Xu Yan and Jia Lin together, she was a child! bromance was nice at least but the rest meehhh disappointing

it wasn't the character so much, it was her portrayal of it that annoyed me

yep... dropped at 7 then watched the last ep, her expressions are still the same. Her try hard cute and funny acting was cringy and ruined their scenes for me. Watching Sun Jae alone couldn't sustain the drama for me.
