I actually feel really sorry for Jia Liang. He tried his best, screaming at his sister and mother... Etc. It's…
I think so too. But it goes to show that he's just not as mature as Huan. He needs to grow a pair more before he can be in a relationship. He has never understood any of her grievances and I'm glad Hian got to say that to him - that he always just says sorry thinking that'll solve it but never actually stands up against anything or for anything. I thought he was gone but I see on the trailer he does another massive proposal! WTF, lil shit never learns!
I don't think it's the actual document that upset Huan but more the fact that her bf didn't discuss it with her.
ohh prenups are a must if you want to protect your assets... let's be realistic, divorce rates are ever increasing and if you have any assets, you'd be a fool not to have one. Love has nothing to do with it. If you mind it 'cos you have nothing and the other party wants it, then you have a prob. In Australia, it's legally binding however there are conditions least of all which is that both parties had received independent legal advice about the agreement.
what a complex character the husband is! jang seungjo is a brilliant actor. also the two MLs have such good chemistry…
don't think he's that complex... i wouldn't be surprised if he caused his ex's 'accident'... he's an addict who didn't get treatment, just swapped one addiction for another, drugs for his wife
My impression is that she only wanted her daughter to have a responsible husband who has a good job, can provide…
I don't think it's a case of ther mother never caring about huan's feelings... she just didn't put herself in her daughter's shoes to truly understand things. You could see it when the son saod to her, let's look at things from huan's point of view, then the mother actually paused and considered things.
Exactly! But I've learnt this is typical of cdrama mothers... but this mother takes the cake.
oh yes! She has to be worst! Totally selfish, manipulative and self-serving. At least huan's mum's actions were her own way of caring for her daughter.
"It's the trouble you've caused as her parents." Gramma... THIS!!! Exactly what I've wanted someone to say to them!!! Pity the mother wasn't there to hear it!!!
ep 11 - Thank fuck she broke it off. However, I wish she had just said straight out to him, I fell out of love with you cos you're a coward and a child who can't handle anything. Conflicts with his family just revealed him to be the lil shit that he is. Just glad he's out of the picture bow, so fucken annoying!
Gave it a try, up to ep 19 then put on hold... boring now and over the questionable misunderstandings, multilayered? I doubt it. Story trying too hard to drag it out but it doesn't engage nor give you anything to be curious about to want to keep watching. I paused ut before every new character becamea couple 😊
Okay guys, I’m here to rant and vent my frustration about this drama, but before I pour out my anger and rage,…
I concur...and with those tropes where one party is persisting despite getting no, then they fall in love at the end, they just look like they're worn down and can't be bothered saying no anymore.
The best Chinese rom-com for me too. It seems fluffy at first but once the campy humor is discerned, the characters…
ohhh don't even compare Shu Yi to Mr Darcy!!! Mr Darcy in every adaptation the character knew how to portray angst and yearning with just a microexpression. Dylan is not at that level... all he did was frown and looked either angry or annoyed. If it wasn't for the monologues, the audience wouldn't know what he's thinking. That means he needs more experience and more practice before he can be compared to any Mr Darcy 😊
I think it's probably because of her mother that she can remain so calm under pressure XD
probably... but it's also probably due to them enabling the mother that she's like that... for instance, that scene where the mother went to her work to plead for the Xin family with Yao - that is highly inappropriate. She was totally upset. When she spoke to her mother at home though, her mother argued valid points and she just backed off and went and had a heart to heart eith her brother instead. She never explained to her mother what was so inappropriate with her actions. Even asking the grandmother for help, she was upset, tried talking to the mother but she never fully explained why. So the mother just keeps doing the same thing cos she doesn't see and wasn't informed what was so wrong with it.
She loves her mother, and no matter how much aprents are, children should not bevahe badlt. Also we as a vierwer…
No matter what, children shouldn't behave badly towards the parents?! That kind of blanket generalisation is dangerous. If the parent's abusive, children shouldn't behave badly still?! That kind of culture is how abuse is perpetuated from generation to generation!
As a character, she ain't blind. She is still aware of what her mother's doing and is like. She's very tolerant of her mother, hence my comment. Before watching cdramas, I'd be hella pissed off eith the mother but after watching so many cdramas now, I understand where that kind of behaviour comes from but still frustrating to watch.
So far, I'm very enviable of Huan's temperament... how she can be so calm under a lot of circumstances thrown at her... not the least her mother's personality. I also love the relationship between her and her brother, so healthy and caring.
