long winded and dragging a lil bit... too many arcs and a lot of ffwd... ZL's acting to me is probably the weakest in all her dramas I've watched... Hong Yi is the same character here as in LLTG š and just as annoying... I'm a big fan of both leads but this dragged on too long for me

A review or comment is a very personal thing. While you may technically be correct, I don't think of it enough to care how it's read by other people. I write what I feel at that moment after watching an ep and something excites me or otherwise. Telling people they should only write a review if they've finished the drama is unrealistic and really, why care about it so much to want to police it?! And if people say lies bout it, and you know they're lies, why care so much?
I noticed the fake crying as well. Her eyes didn't well up at all, you could see it was artificial tears. NIW…
exactly! I could maybe classify her as a veteran now and yet, her acting leaves you confused... that includes walking like she's on the catwalk every scene and it looks like she actually stops before walking lol it's quite funny but that's on the director and editing as well... fix it already cos it's not the first time it occurs with her.
Just finished this. Quite liked the storyline, interesting take on the time travel genre which I haven't come across yet, mind you, I haven'treally watched a lot of them.
What I liked - the acting was great from everyone. The weakest here for me would probably be the FL. As stiff and unnatural as always. I liked the fairtytale ending even if it was cringey. I liked the wnding for each character, very fitting and neat. My cutest couple would be Eun Ho and Hee Youn, beautiful together. Hee Youn's character was too adorable without being annoying.
What annoyed me - PMY needs to stop trying to be a fashion model with her characters. Ji Won was a beaten woman, emotionally drained, mentally abused and was pretty much dead figuratively even before her cancer diagnosis. She died and went back to 10 yrs prior bit she's still the same person. However, pretty much straight away, she's got a whole new wardrobe with the confidence to boot. Whether it's bad writing or her oversight, it should've taken at least an ep for her character to gather the confidence, after being thru that trauma of a marriage and actually dying in her previous life. Instead, she's strutting her stuff wearing maybe high end couture gears... it's as if she doesn't want to look sloppy in any role, this goes for her other roles too.
- Is there something physically wrong with her eyes? I've noticed that her eyes never go red, like tears are pooling in her eyes but they're never red which makes it to me seem inauthentic.
- Sumin, to me, is easily the best actress here. I can't stop staring at her skin too lol it's so dewy and perfect, I know it's all makeup but still. I thought she was a great actress in Devilish Joy but here, she's just elevated her status. She portrayed the complexities of Sumin's psychosis very well, switching back and forth with her personalities allowed me to see her versatility. Really enjoyed the show due to her more than any other character.
at ep 8 now and I'm seriously impressed by Song Ha Yoon!!! I loved her in Devilish Joy and felt she was a great actress but this role has really brought out her talent and extended her range, congrats to her! I actually watch to see what else she'll get up to. I'm not a big fan of PMY and this drama further cements that no matter how much I try to like her. I don't rate her as an actress and it's ruining the drama for me.
Bingeing this and they're copying the kdrama version in a lot of aspects so all who said they're different, it's a cdrama adaptation, no ques... even the soundtrack when it comes on loud in some scenes. I don't like this OST at all but kdrama one I've memorised š I've watched it that much. So far, the prob I see with this FL is her passiveness... she just goes along witth whatever her bf says even when she has a prob with it. It's juvenile and annoying. Her acting is inferior to Hae Ji Min so even though some things may be lost in translation, I understood it all from being so familiar with OSN.
