I started watching this without knowing anything about it. It seems to be the case with all KYD dramas and then I get pleasantly surprised by them all... gotta love that! ❤️

Currently watching and I'm mezmerised by the ML... his range... it's the first I've watched the FL and I'm an instant fan. This to me has similar vibe/storyline as Destined With You but I'm much more intrigued and engaged with this one. I can't help comparing them. This for me def wins out. Can't wait for the rest of it.

It doesn't matter if he wasn't with her intentionally... both times SY rang him when she saw him with Mi Bai, he lied that he was with a patient ir surgery... that had nothing to do with SY's mother. I get why he lied but that's not a misunderstanding. Mi Bai may have faked the fall onto him but that's irrelevant... all he had to say was, I'm with Mi Bai at the hopt, she hurt her foot, that's all SY was after, the truth.

Why is every wrong thing said to be a misunderstanding? The ML lied to the FL whenever he was with Mi Bai. That's not a misunderstanding, that's a lie, even if it was for good intentions. Mi Bai was a psychotic who loved the ML obsessively, what she did and felt towards the FL was hate, vindictiveness and mistrust, however misplaced it was, not a misunderstanding. Maybe it's lost in translation but I wish they'd just say what it is instead of a misunderstanding. It belittles every wrong thing done and makes it seem ok to disregard it with no real consequences. Mi Bai hating the FL points to mntal health issues which she needs to deal with, yet it's painted as a misunderstanding.

I was disappointed in the no kissing part as well but on reflection, I interpreted it as it was done on purpose because they can't be kissing cousins as they're technically first cousins... so whilst they had those feelings which they couldn't do anything about, the physical part at least they could control that...

Really wanna watch this cos of Dennis Oh but Sandra Ma's acting is quite cringey and ruins it

gotta be my 5th or so times rewatching and I still get butterflies at their interaction... so beautifully carried out by the actors... writing is beyond

Acting all okay... my prob is with the storyline and the writing... Zhenzhen? she was a spy then just left and then comes back??! Zheng Chao sexually assaulted the best friend and nothing happened to him in regards to that?! WTF! there really is no excuse for these kinds of oversights. And what happened with his mum and Mr Chen? It just shows laziness! Was cringey at times so ffwd a lot esp that fucken nose rub!🙄
