ML plays the same character in his dramas I've seen... great acting generally and Bae Suzy whilst mega hot is annoying AF so she portrays the character quite well... ffwd some bits
Just watched ep 1 and it gave me a Record of Youth vibe... the style of the storytelling... one thing's annoying me though is how she smokes lol her whole mouth opens when she's about to have a drag like she's bout give head 🤨
Finished it and I did not like that ending at all... it actually felt like he was cheating on Byoeun which I didn't like. Acting was phenomenal though... story arcs kept me engaged they it lost me at ep 8 when Naksu came thru... to me, writers got lazy and just ended it qith the expected easiest result for the MC... and surprisingly, I felt eveything with Byoeun bit not Naksu... first time I've watched the FL so am very impressed
I didn't watch S1, probably worked in my favour so I didn't compare the 2 FL... at ep9 now of S2 and I'm actually turned off the MC... do I get it right that he's now spending time with Naksu now instead of BuYeon? When he kissed her that time he was kissing Naksu?

at ep 6, to me, she did this to de-escalate the situation for the ML's sake. Remember she was scared that Gi-Seuk would find out sge gad a thing with the ML and she was worried more about the ML's reputation being tarnished. May have been the wrong way but that's the whole point... the situation was a mess and was struggling with it all
The MC aesthetics are pleasing. Storyline meh... acting meh... first time seeing all of them. FL is gorgeous and loved what she brought to the character but dialogue and writing bordered on ridiculous. Kidnapping gets old after the 2nd time... the repetitive nature of the storylines were not endearing.
First time watching the FL in anything and I'm impressed. Totally loves her character and her portrayal. I was also impressed by SWL... he played his part so well... I forgive him in other dramas that may not be that good cos I just love watching him but this one, he's def grown in terms of acting skills and technique... loved his micro expressions, they were all on point and such great delivery!
I really don't know if there's any drama out there worse than this... it is bad on all fronts... acting is lousy and just flat, screenplay even worse, dialogue was grating, plot was boring... just everything was a waste of time so don't waste yours.
And the director deserves a slap for so many things but my biggest gripe was making the FL walk on sand in heels 🙄
Really tried to like this as I kinda like the story but the FL's acting is just mediocre and she's still doung baby voice at ep 17 so that's gone on too long for me. I've seen her before in other dramas and liked her but not in this one and ML not great enough to carry this on his own for me.
Underwhelming ending... cute but cringey interactions between MC... wouldn't rewatch... plot holes bit I can't even be bothered trying to understand them... got draggy, too repetitive with no satisfactory result... still a good watch but glad it's over
ep 13 - weirdest thing I noticed? How long his kitchen bench is!!! It might as well be a coffee table! is he extra tall or are those benches unusually low?
Wasn't a fan of the Korean version... I coukd almost say the Chinese one was better but totally forgettable... totally didn't like both FL, they just overacted to me... will watch this one soon just to compare
Putting this on hold again, had tried before and I progressed to ep 10 this time but the FL's doe eyed expressions just annoy me, it makes her look docile... or maybe that's just the effect of slowmo clips but gotta take a break from it for now...

It was Soo hee... a bit of a fantasy but I think it was Soo hee's spirit, that's why Don Eung cried cos she believed it was actually Soo hee's spirit being present
