I am watching the 2021 version which is still airing. Just rewatched this one and there is no comparison. Acting…
Yep, like me, I keep watching this one too and still loving it. I love the FL's conviction and determination in this one but the 2021 gives the main couple so much more intimate conversations where you really see how they can develop feelings for each other, wished the 2019 gave us more detailed scenes like that but I guess with 30+ episodes the 2021 could afford yo do that time wise
Organizing my lists I came across this drama and couldn't help but read the comments... I saw this drama a long…
I agree, why was she speaking like a 7yo?! It wasn't cute. I don't know what the character is supposed to be like but I found her downright annoying. If she keeps acting like that, I'd have to drop it, that kind of acting gives me the urge to slap somebody!
I must be honest I pretty much skip over every scene between Ge Bi and Bai Li. I like Bai Li when she is hanging…
Right?! The stalker character, I think it's Zheng Wenrui, is so aggressive and just out of nowhere... that character in the first version I think is the epitome of unrequited love, with nobody knowing how she felt till she confessed to Luo Zhi! The character in this version is just too much and unnecessary I think.
Yes, the storyline for Ge Bi and Bai Li in both versions just frustrates me... and quite boring really.
I'm reading the novel too but gotta keep waiting for the translation.
I'd be interested to see if this new character writer Mo Han (?) will bring any kind of conflict.
Now the wait for next week's episodes begin :( Am really loving the interactions between the leads, it's developed quite a bit this week. The maturity and intelligence of their discussions is quite refreshing coupled with a bit of innocence and curiosity thrown in and my heart flutters every time they go on their walks or they're alone. Therein you see how their feelings are developing and the devotion by Huai Nan is already evident. The 2019 version didn't really have that so I'm appreciating that with this new adaptation. This week I'm hoping is the last we see of the Ge Bi/Bai Li interaction, it's gotten awkward and I really am not interested in the Ge Bi character. Now they're starting to throw Ming Rui and the psycho stalker together?!
Finished watching ep10 and I'm finding some of the characters unlikeable... eg Baili's moronic love of Ge Bi yes, he's a despicable excuse for a human but she's just going psycho now with loving him a when he tells her he doesn't love her. I basically want to fast fwd all their scenes... SML is a bit ridiculous with no loyalty to the ML by way of his friendship, he sells out the ML every chance he gets.. the other stalker graduate from their high sch is all but creepy... and the ex and the silver haired girl are a bit more sinister... the theme of unrequited love seem to be all non-existent... I feel the 2019 version did a much better job in its interpretation of each relationship, it feels a lot more mature than this one
Am loving the conversations between the leads so far, it's more in-depth than the other one and it really shows their compatibility and helps with the developmentof their relationship whichis heartwarming. Am not liking how Luo Zhi is divulging everything to Bai Lin, she's less reserved than the other one... still liking it tho, looking fwd to more eps
When he bent down to clean her shoes and he says she can sit and then she sits on his shoulder hahahaha who does that?! lol too cute
And him telling her what to do not to get constipation again whike they were in the car hahaha
