Jang Uk is a young master with a peculiar reputation. No one questions whatever he does because 1) they pitty him and 2) he's Jang Kang's only child. About the blue garb, there were only commoners watching him fighting Gilju, none of them were at the palace to watch the duel. The fact it was nighttime also contributes to confuse people of his identity. Tansu is not a secret, Uk did study with 12 different masters before his energy gate was opened. People are inclined to believe him sice he's clever and Jang Kang's son. I could argue about every said plot hole, but instead I'll suggest you try to see through the eyes of the characters. No need to go crazy about it. It's a 20 episode season with her as FL, you don't need to watch season 2 if you don't want to. Maybe she'll participate as support character, maybe not, but you still have 12 episodes of her amazing acting! Let's cheer up a bit.
