Life is about choices. They are free to feel however they want, say whatever they want, but they're not gonna accomplish anything. They'll look dumb and immature, and I'll point that out because I am also entitled to do that. This is a dumb discussion, I've been trying to calm ppl down bc I care about the show, not just my fave. But tomorrow I'll probably ignore them. Today my choice was to relay a message, and that's what I did.

That's Korean media's doing. I doubt the show PR team would do this deliberately.

I literally watched LJW die a horrible death and continued watching the drama bc it was amazing good. Yes, I would be like "OMG I NEED TO PREPARE MYSELF, I'LL MISS HIM SO MUCH" and then continue to watch the drama if it's good. That's me. I also freaked out yesterday bc I shipp UkieDeokie like crazy and I love their chemistry, but then that was it. I didn't start b1tching about bc so far the show is awesome good. If this drama sucked I would definitely consider dropping, but that's not the case.

What if it was the other way around? LJW, a veteran actor with a huge following, and JSM, a new outstanding actress without many contacts. Would you like to see his fandom demand the production to keep him or else they would drop the drama?
It's totally up to you if you'll watch part 2 or not. No one is demanding you to watch. But the negative comments about the situation are overwhelming. Maybe you guys are not directly attacking the actors, but you're not being considerate either.
You're entitled to share your frustration and opinion the same way others are free to share their own. And this is my opinion: your fandom is not being tactful. This is a great show! And you guys are killing the mood.
I also hate that ppl nowadays think they have the power to change creators' works by demanding things on social media. There's no artistic freedom right now, only social media terrorism. "Do as we want or face the consequences (canceling)". Maybe you're not doing this, but I saw many ppl saying sh*t like that since yesterday.

Mudeok is a really mysterious character, I wanna know more about her!! Our theories point to her being the lost eldest Jin daughter (Buyeon), but we have no idea why the relics called her the ice stone (IS). We don't know how it works. We know the ice stone was created after a ritual to fill the Daeho lake. We know the woman that performed the ritual was Jinyowon's leader. We suspect that the Jin clan was in charge of guarding the IS. We don't know if it's possible to store the IS in a mage's body, or if Buyeon somehow was born with its power/energy. I can't wait to see JSM as powerful Buyeon and GYJ as badass Naksu!!!

Suddenly? She's the FL from the beginning. There's no love triangle bc she's not indecisive between the MLs. She likes Uk now, not the guy she dumped after 2 days when she was young. Yul is much more than a SML, he clearly loves Uk and he's been helping him and Mudeok like a good friend. We don't know Mudeok yet, but hopefully she'll get her chance once Naksu gets her body back.

Ikr?? If the show totally sucked I wouldn't bother to finish, but this is such a good, one-of-a-kind, drama. I can't understand the rage. I love Somin as Mudeok, but I knew at some point they'll have to separate Naksu's soul from that body.
Honestly, if Jaewook was in this same situation I wouldn't do what ppl are doing right now. I've been through the excruciating experience of watching my fave die a horrible death and I still resumed watching the drama because it was that good. So, no, I'm not empathizing with the "I'll drop the drama if JSM leaves" gang.

Maybe that's why we're so resilient hahaha we've been through a lot 💀

As you can see, I'm an LJW fan and I was beyond happy when they announced he would be the ML for a Hong Sisters drama. I was kind of afraid they cast an absolute rookie to star alongside him. You have no idea how happy I was when JSM accepted to replace the previous actress because I knew she was a reliable actress. LJW doesn't have a huge fandom yet, when he changed agencies I was again scared. He works so hard, I thought maybe something happened you know? This drama took SO LONG to come out. We didn't even know for sure JSM was really in the cast until march this year 🥲
Fortunately, promotions started and everything was going well... until it wasn't shiauhsaiu
It was the FIRST WEEK and we had to fight back the downrating attack from some weirdoes claiming cultural appropriation 😤 Thankfully, we got this amazing show back to MDL's spotlight, it was such a beautiful joint effort! You just had to be there.
Now, this. Korean media successfully stirred chaos. And I don't know what else to say. It's just sad that the fandom of an amazing actress, who's being such a reliable co-star to JW, is turning their back on this show. I wish people could be as supportive as JSM is and not just give up on the show. But that's just wishful thinking. I hope this drama succeeds, and I'll be here to support Jaewook, the whole cast, the writers, and the director the best I can. Looking forward to what the drama has in store for us. 🙌🏻
