The Hong sisters don't really work with love triangles, the second lead either has a one-sided love or the female lead is over the guy. If I'm right, they'll use the whole triangle thing as a parody. The 2nd lead is getting all the good cliche stuff while the lead gets all the bickering haha

Yeah, I wouldn't apply our science to this story. This is high fantasy, Daeho was born out of the energy of a dragon, so it's better not take it too serious hahaha I think their logic is pretty great, we still don't know much about their alchemy, but hopefully we'll get more answers ahead in the show.

I see many people having problems understanding why Uk is not Jang Kang's son, so let's analyze the situation:

1 - Kang used alchemy (the magical process of transformation, creation, or combination) to shift their souls. So the DNA involved in Uk's conception is neither purely Kang's nor the King's.

They used ALCHEMY (there's magical dragon water involved) to switch souls, so technically the DNA was modified. I think it's correct to assume that Uk's father is both the king and the mage. His conception was prophesied for the king because Uk was destined to succeed him on the throne.
