I'm going to try to stay positive and believe that none of them will have a sad ending.
this is not the typical historical drama though. The director and actors said the drama is a mix of genres and fast paced, so I wouldn't bet on a sad ending.

Despite all the suffering, hotel del luna didnt have a sad ending, it was bittersweet but not sad. I dont think they'll mess this one up.

yes!! a thousand times yes! I dont like it when the leads fall in love instantly and the next day they want to die for each other, it's unrealistic! I like slow burns better.

My theory is that the jin family got rid of choyeon's sister (mudeok) because she too weak and blind. They tried to treat her at sejugwon (that's why heoyeom recognized her ear) but they couldn't make her stronger so they gave up on her. I know, it's a terrible theory and I wish she was kidnapped 😩
