I think expecting people to heal fast from traumatic experiences is very unrealistic, so I don't understand ppl complaining about the characters crying over the same things.
It's not depressing. It's introspective. The protagonists are quirky and relatable! It's surprisingly funny and engaging. It's a slow burn but the chemistry between characters is amazing.

It's a good thing I didn't watch more than 4 episodes of the American version. Now I can watch this drama not expecting anything. So far, I'm enjoying it! I need more raphael x woori scenes 🥲
Excellent acting , painful journey , direction could be better in terms of transitioning from past to present…
Japanese music market is awfully closed. Every foreign artist should make exclusive content if they want their work distributed there. It's a protective method, otherwise people would just import albums (much cheaper). With exclusive content theh can produce the albums and sell at a higher price, preserving their music market.
It's a drama, a work of fiction, not a documentary. The character went to Africa to do charity, of course he wouldn't…
We all know that, but if a clebrity wants to go to a place to do charity they go to some place in Africa. It's usually where doctors go to do charity as well, it's not like it's out of reality. Again, this is a work of fiction, they'll use all the clichés.
While it is true that a lot of countries in Africa are struggling, its kinda of frustrating to see that the media…

Maybe bc of how they portray Japan in negative way, Alot of Japanese get pissd off. I heard that ppl downvoting…
This is why history should be preserved and not swept under the rug. They should face the atrocities their country did in the past (it's not their fault anyways) and vow to never repeat those things again. The drama has important messages. I hope many people watch pachinko and start appreciating life even during hard times.
I just know I will rewatch this show multiple times 😍
