I believe Uk's conception is special. He has the blood of Jang Kang but spiritually he's the king's sucessor. The whole royal "bloodline" is a spiritual thing, so it doesn't matter if the body was kang's, it was the king's soul during the conception. There's also the matter of soul shifting being a forbidden kind of magic. Something definitely changes in the body, it's alchemy after all.

The only let down of the bad ratings is that it won't show on MDL's top airing shows list, which gives a lot of visibility. The show is doing great so far, but it hurts seeing this rating because it's so good. We see bad shows with a better rating x_x

I love that he's smart but not cold. We usually get either a bafoon with big heart or a cold smart/genius main character. Uk is in between, smart but charismatic and honest about his feelings.

Also, when there's a plot about swapping/sharing bodies it's kind of easy to forget who's who. Introducing a lover from Naksu's past makes it easier to remember she's in a different body. It's really easy to forget this because we don't know Mudeoki's personality. Yul is Naksu's past and Uk is Naksu's present.

their last "love triangle" was different than most, maybe this one will be different too. I mean, naksu had a crush on yul in the past but the revenge has been her priority for such a long time. I don't think she'll be torn between uk and yul. She'll definitely catch some feelings for uk bc he's helping her. I might be wrong though 😁
