Now that I think about it, the mark only appears when the soul enters the body. During the alchemy of souls, when both souls are in that realm they look up and start feeling the pull. Gilju followed the pull and got the mark, Uk didn't so he was left with no mark. Since Gilju's soul was forced to enter his own body again he got the scar. The fact Naksu's body got a scar means JBY pushed her back, canceling the spell, and then made her own priestess trapping spell (hence the mark being in her eyes not above heart like alchemy of souls).
I have something thatβs been bothering me since part 1.When 2 people swap souls the blue mark appears on both…
I always assumed the bruise was in her eyes because that's where Naksu's soul entered. I mean, if the soul exiting the body leaves a bruise, entering another body would also bruise.
I wonder if that's an ice stone or something similar but not quite the same. I mean, they mentioned a Choi mage…
I know there were multiple ice stones but this one has a greenish glow and the guy is dead haha that's why I questioned. My guess is that other ice stones weren't as powerful as the one Uk has. And maybe SG left that one safe because of this.

They mentioned the existence of multiple ice stones, but in theory Seo Gyeong and Seolran got rid of them and the one in Jinyowon was the last one. But since it was mentioned mage Choi died 200 years ago in Gwido then it's possible that he had an ice stone with him. I'm just curious about his death at this point. Does the ice stone lose effect?

If you can't see the difference between actual toxic behavior and natural reacrions then I'm wasting my time here. There's no such thing as proper way to fall in love, you just do, make your choices and see what happens. Perfect relationships doesn't exist and I'm glad this drama isn't selling unrealistic relationships.
Even after airing 28 episodes(S1+s2), AOS yet to cross double digit ratings π·π·π·π·π·π·, normally…
AoS is the most streamed drama on Netflix Korea in 2022. It's the most successful Dragon Studio drama on Global Netflix Top 10 (192 days). This is a high fantasy drama with almost no contemporary references, which does not appeal to older audiences who still watch tv. Even the hot kiss scene from episode 8 was trending #1 at Naver TV Top 100 today with more than 100k views. AoS is winning every popularity poll here on MDL and on Twitter. Not to mention the episodes and actors' tags trending daily on twitter. Jaewook already won 3 awards bc of AoS. People are watching and enjoying it. Why are you butthurt?
I wonder Bu-Yeong/Naksu will take the ice stone from the skeleton? That skeleton was one of her Jin ancestor,…
I wonder if that's an ice stone or something similar but not quite the same. I mean, they mentioned a Choi mage died in Gwido, so I assumed that's their mortal remains. How did they die if they had an ice stone? Does this mean the ice stone won't grant immortality? Or maybe it only works once to resurrect a body? Many questions haha
Its not about who to root for, between Buyeon and Naksu, for Naksu we are aware of her circumstance, we have been…
Well, Buyeoff definitely didn't trap Naksu to protect anyone but herself. She knew Naksu was dying, all she had to do to prevent Naksu from killing anyone was to interrupt the alchemy of souls (like she did in Uk's case). Naksu probably didn't have a spare soul ejector, and she was too weak to perform the spell another time anyway (she would die). What happened is: Buyeoff saw the opportunity and seized it. If she should be considered a villain it all depends on the audience. I like this story because there's not just one villain behind everything. It's just a bunch of people making bad decisions for selfish reasons. I also love how it displays how the "good ones" can do shady stuff thinking it's the right thing to do.

To be a toxic character he would have to lie through his teeth. Uk never deluded Yeong. He always openly discouraged her into liking him. He established the boudaries and she broke them time and time again. Yeong was also not a victim, she purposely tested his boundaries and judged him multiple times. Uk is not perfect and I like him because he makes up for his mistakes. He's a consistent character who deserves praise. But ppl do need to see beyond black and white to understand this.
