I love how the hearing loss is not the main focus of the story. In other dramas with a similar plot, the narrative usually revolves around the disability. I think it is more important to show that a disability is not your entire personality and that your life should not revolve around just one thing. You can still enjoy your life with it. Here, it has been handled beautifully so far because the hearing impairment is not ignored, but it is also not overemphasized.

i have a history of not liking multiple love interests in a drama, so i'm not sure if this will be any different. but i'll watch it for the main leads. i just hope they don't compromise the main lead's screen time and interaction for the sake of cameos. on top of that, there are only 10 eps, so it all depends on the pacing and development.

i was genuinely surprised by the plot twist in ep2. even though there are quite a few plot holes, i think we'll get to the bottom of them as we g deeper into the show. so far, it's been such a pleasant watch. the ost, the acting(especially the micro expressions from the ml), the chemistry, and the color palette have been absolute standouts. i initially doubted the ml's capabilities, but i'm relieved that he proved me wrong. my expectations have increased even more now. i think it might be the best show airing right now.

I can't pin point exactly what is off about this drama but if I had to, I'll say the awkward pauses between the dialogues. That makes all of it feel so unnatural and forced. Plus, the lack of bgm is also bothering me here. The acting is also amateurish and stiff. The production however was least of my concerns when the direction was noticeably lacking.

The golden retriever thing you are talking about is called "GREEN FLAG" which Duang is. Being true to…
Hardly. Like i said the only thing bothering me here is the childish presentation which could have been cute but instead comes across as cringey. I'm giving my opinion here. You can't have every comment to be positive, there is bound to be some criticism. I'm also sharing my criticism and that doesn't mean I'm discouraging other viewers here. Ironically enough my criticism is actually needed if someone else wants to know the other side of the coin. That's how comment section works. It's a constructive criticism not unwillingness to support an artist or a creator.

you mean learn to enjoy a fictional show that is actually GOOD? im not taking anything seriously, infact i couldn't be more lenient with my standards here. if only the writers knew how to build a character instead making them look like 5 year olds in the name of lightheartedness or comedy, i wouldn't be getting the ick right now. this has nothing to do with being yourself bcz no one out there behaves like this with anyone at the ripe age of adulthood. even if they did there were so many better ways to execute it. but then again, to each their own. something i find cringe doesn't have to be universally true.
On Duang with You Feb 21, 2026
at first, it was somewhere between cute and cringey, but now it’s just annoyingly immature and uncomfortable to watch. just stop my guy. what are u doing, acting like a toddler(lowkey worse)? idk when they confused golden retriever energy with… whatever this is. ugh. also, give qin something to actually act, bcz all he’s doing is reciting two lines with a poker face.

everything else aside, lin feng song is objectively one of the best actors in the bl industry. i can see him landing bigger projects in the future.
On Duang with You Feb 14, 2026
duang bbygirl you're doing too much😭 there's a thin line between cute and cringe, and he's comfortably in the latter category, especially when he's with qin. oddly enough he is still so lovable.

I couldn't last one ep, the acting is that bad. Not the worst but certainly bad. The direction also feels amateurish. The only bearable aspect here is the aesthetic color grading.

I'm on episode 4 and the dialogues seem a bit long and boring to me ... Does it get better? Should I continue?…
not really. i think the inner monologues make it boring.
On Single’s Inferno Season 5 Feb 10, 2026
honestly, i would've preferred if go eun hadn't chosen anyone. i geon dug his own grave after the paradise date because he had literally won her over at that point. saying things that she has already been upfront about from the get go, made him seem careless and oddly casual about her feelings. add to that his constant ranting about liking some other girl then talking rudely to her when she was mid convo with someone else and then not even assertively approaching her. i connected all the dots at some point. He really came across as a red flag pretending to be a green flag. from what i can tell, i geon has a lot of dating experience, so he knows what to say and how to say it, but there's this weird self importance that isn't really helping when you have to win a girl over. he was the least expressive and the most unserious out of the three. he kept her confused and idt the stakes were ever that high for him, which explains why he wasn't chosen. hyeon woo whereas, made every rookie mistake possible. this man read how to not win a girl in 10 days i think. yearning energy? no, more like hasn't dated anyone energy(which is not a bad thing trust). his lines were way too corny, he was way too handsy on the date, had zero original thought, had absolutely no curiosity about HER, and was completely self absorbed in his own feelings. sigh. he was never really an option ngl. and then there's our controlling and possessive sungmin, not a good choice, go eun, but you do you girl. they are breaking up after a few weeks anyway. He isn't going to last, I can tell. one more thing i hated was how hyeon woo and sung min were talking about stealing go eun. she wasn't yours to begin with. what are you even talking about bud.
