the scene where they take photos of each other infront of a tree, and he shifts to the middle of the bench AHHHHHH!!! Who even thinks of that? so thoughtful. And the bgm is also so pleasant to listen to!
I just know I'll get a major second lead syndrome from this drama. Because look at the sml y'all. It can't be just me. Or maybe it's not a love triangle afterall.
that and her double standards with wanting the guys to only focus on her while she's juggling 4 at once and sulking…
Yeah exactly. Plus, the fact that she keeps leading Sung hyun on when she clearly has no real interest in him makes it even worse. Every time he’s direct, she just circles around her words instead of being honest and setting clear boundaries.
I think the issue with Mina Sue is that she’s far too honest for her own good. You don’t need to voice every single thought you have, because at a certain point it just comes across as fickle. On top of that, she has very little self awareness, both about herself and the people around her, which makes her seem ignorant at times. If she came into the show thinking she’d shoot her shot with every guy who showed even a little interest in her, she should’ve anticipated the collective criticism that would follow. Girl you aren’t pitiful if you’re the first one to make everyone uncomfortable. Idt she’s necessarily a bad person outside of the show, and she prolly does care about other people’s feelings. It’s just hard to tell when her behaviour comes across as so eccentric.
No disrespect to Jisoo or Blackpink at all, but I don’t really get why this has to revolve around the group.…
Unfortunately, that’s not how this industry works. You can’t really separate two major industries, even if they’re different, because of the influence they have on each other. No matter what, BLACKPINK’s comeback will affect this drama’s success, that’s simply how promotion works.
Ep4 was a LOT better, and we’re finally picking up the pace. I’ll give credit where it’s deserved. That said, the chemistry is still nowhere to be found, and Idt that’s going to change in the coming eps. I can’t feel the spark when they’re together, and it’s not the acting I’m criticizing but the overall compatibility of the two actors on screen within this story. The romance simply isn’t well handled, and it shows. I’ll be a bit stingy with my criticism here, but the writing remains the weakest part of this drama, as i feared earlier.
I love it when writers aren’t scared of cliches bcz they’re confident in their writing. Everything here is so simple yet so interesting, and I don’t say this often, but I’m genuinely looking forward to when they actually start dating. I think it’s going to be so fun to watch the change in their demeanour. So far, the mutual respect and understanding they have for each other has been absolutely worth watching!
This was such a snoozefest ngl. I have no strong feelings about this drama and that's the problem. Nothing really stands out and the plot is as basic as it can get: a gumiho, her love interest, a hunter, an evil business man and the story moves back and forth between them. The characters are also very two dimensional so far.
the mind games they are playing while respecting and understanding each other? top tier! the ml is such a green flag too. i LOVE it so far, especially the banter. it isn't childish or overdone but feels more mature and genuinely humorous, which i'm enjoying so far.
