like what do fans of the series even talk about?
i wasn't waiting for a whole week for this. Like us a week's wait worth of gay content or people will get slowly bored and then dont come blaming us bl fans for not being "profitable" lol

Not hating this drama or anything but nothing really phenomenal happens in the first two episodes of this drama as well. It's cute I mean but its not giving "let free the curse of taekwando" gave during the first two episodes. It's just the introductory episodes. Basic just like #secretrelationships first two episodes. So, 7.9 is not bad. I mean there might be some people who are unhappy and rated it low for it. But, there could also be a lot of genuine people who thinks 7.9 rating is fine and counting that together with homophobic people who are also rating it low coming from the front page, this makes sense.

I don't know. I usually check the pages whenever a new korean BL starts and the rating is always under 8.0 during the start and it slowly builds up. The recent example would be Secret Relationships.

Straight people taking offense for gay people and gay people taking offense for straight people. This comment section is so interesting lol

also, why are people acting like this BL getting a 7.9 rating is horrendous and unique to it. Almost all Korean BL which ends up in the front page start getting low ratings due to homophobic people flocking in and it isn't anything new.

tbf it was 7.8 before it was 8 for a few hours

Wanted to watch this but I am also kind of scared to watch it. I think I will wait for at least upto episode 6 to finish airing. Right now, the reactions seems to be lukewarm.

It was good.
Although I have one critic which is Su Hyeon stepping back when Jaemin came at him considering he was ready and tried to kill the guy who tried SA-ing Daon. I felt like that was kinda off-character for him. But, I guess they needed that to show he didn't actually deserved Daon.

I know why some people might not like Dohoe. But, I understand why he was the way he was. He is a product of constant abuse after all. Contary to popular belief, a good di-(i mean love) is not always enough to heal a person with that background.

For someone like Dohoe who was physically and emotionally abused by his father since young and being treated like a maid by his father, you definitely need someone with a heart of gold like Ju Yeong.

I know during middle of the series there was a bit of confusion but it got all explained during the end. I cried so much during my watch. A great series. 10/10.

I am at episode 6. It's a really good drama but I am so afraid of the ending.
Contempting if I want to go on or not cause I feel like this will break my heart cause I have already cried a few times watching till episode 6. Am I really even brave enough for the ending?????

Yo, I didn't think I would like this cause the actors visually didn't appeal to me. Not that they are ugly or anything but you know sometimes when you look at movie posters/trailer and the actors or actresses just doesn't appeal to you. Not because they are ugly, but YOU are not just feeling it.

Oh, I was so wrong. I started it late at night cause I thought I would watch only 2-3 episodes. But, I watched it till 6 am as I was so hooked. Now, I find both of male leads so damn appealing and charming. OH THEY WERE ACTING for their roles. Cha Yeowoon is just so fucking attractive and cute. He kinda reminds me of TXT Soobin now. Tae Myung Ha as well. He is just so damn reliable, attractive and kind. Bravo! The production team, actors and everybody. Unique story told in such a brilliant way. A full on K-drama experience. If you told me this aired on TVN or JTBC I would believe it. Self love is very important and this drama fully was able to make me understand that.

And, your reasoning is pretty valid. I am talking about the people that are hating just because he was able to see it again and not the execution.

I think not liking the last episode is one thing. I might have been a bit dissapointed at how they reconciled. But, I am never going to hate on the fact that a person who wanted to see again was able to see. That's weird to hate on. Like, i get it he could live as a disabled person just fine which the series did show us, but having a succesful surgery would make his life so much easier. Why on earth would anyone hate on that. It's not like it's a cosmetic surgery.

Although I am pretty sure Day will remain blind. I am always kinda weirded out by people wanting him to remain blind, that too, by people who can see. I would have been happy with either of the results as long as what makes Day(the one who is going blind/possibility of seeing again person) happy. This series would be great either way.

yeah even for someone like me who hasn't watched the trailer i could tell he is still blind just from his eyes and how he is looking not at a person
brilliant acting on Sea's part cause they couldn't clickbait people with the footage cause the actor is acty-ing

I think it is neither of their fault cause it was not intentional. But, I also understand Day. Boy is doing through a lot. If he doesn't want to make up with Night at the moment, it is totally fine. As long as Day doesn't intentionally torments Night which he hasn't. All these episodes he hasn't gone for Night first unless provoked when Night tries to make up. I think they do need their distance and they need to talk when Day finally comes in term with his blindness. If now is not a good time for him, I will give him the space.
