Agree & and yeah I have tried melos & everything.
its been 7 years since I started watching kdrams/jdramas. Guess I have reached my Saturation point! ( that I lose interest in a story the instant I see similar trope & cliches).... I now only seek romance if it's mature only. (the reason why i loved dramas like 'my liberation notes' & 'our blues')

Look I am assuming things because that's usually how kdramas storyline turn out be at some point, bcoz major portion of audiences ( newbies) seeks same Romantic stuffs which they have been seeing from past 1-2 years. and if they don't see it, it affects the rating, and if rating gets affected...so the plot of upcoming episodes bcoz of sudden change in writing to appease the viewers.
( okay my reasoning may be just an assumption xD......but the thing about plot turning into mess in attempt to please the viewers true to some point.)

Just don't wanna see things like . . . . .

tired of these shhts, this what happens when plot shift majorly towards romance side...........include the romance, no issues.....just don't let it control the plot just becoz u wanted to please some people, just deliver the story u believe in......( exactly the reason why they forced romance in the drama 'The Island' when the webtoon have none, hence ruining the whole vibe.)

every 4 out of 5 dramas a month is romance ones if u have noticed.

Bruh, even I have a common understanding that one drama can't be purely thriller, purely comedy, or purely action...... that all of them will have every elements in that. I don't mind romance as long as it's stays in the background or it's a mature romance (like my liberation notes)

But here, the meaning changes when they specifically mentions' Romance tag' as in genre section, not just 'minimal romance' in tag section.

The plot itself has a nice ring to it.... but everything will start to fall apart when leads start approaching life problems with 'power of love' bullsht..... too typical approach, all this fated love bullsht. And description sounds like exactly that.( look I really hope I m wrong here, that someone messed up the description, that someone just assumed stuffs & wrote down in description)

Imagine watching spider man homecoming, where Peter is making out, going on dates, being hubby-dubby with mj the entire movie......and sometimes he fights villains.Sounds fcking awkward right??....... that's how kdramas becomes at some point when they start caring about romance rather than sticking to the center plots.

I though it was a common knowledge that 70-80% of the korean drama is romance dramas & every year they use same repetitive concept with a slight change. In conclusion... nothing new there, nothing that brings breathe of fresh air.
And,
So me expecting or demanding( whatever u wanna call it) no-romance... should be pretty normal. instead of me going in every non-romantic dramas & demanding romance there.

i was all excited about it until i saw that 'romance' tag ... . ..why? just why everything have to have a romance in it? Let it be good wholesome drama where family supports each other & deals with life problems together........not introduce some Female character to do the exact thing.
Now FL will use Power of Love and cure the entire family....and the end.

Finally picked up today from my Watchlist.....loving it

One thing, . .i noticed, every characters are expert in eavesdropping each other. Man they always listening others standing behind the walls. xD . . . .i bet there must be atleast 20-30 eavesdropping scenes.

jerk would be an understatement, he is the only reason i didn't picked up season 1 and never will i guess. . . . . . .s1 was released in 2016, but ML character type was like he is playing some toxic ml from 2000-2010 dramas.

finally picked this up from my watchlist yesterday.... it was a masterpiece! (yeah there were some minor plot holes... but can be neglected)

Seems like Plot doesn't know what to do with itself....they trying everything to keep it interesting ( feels like they frustrating audience on purpose )
