Nah u can't call em sports GENRE dramas ( even if they are tagged as one). Yeah u may tag em with 'swimmer ML' or 'Athlete FL' tags but can't call them SPORTS DRAMA. (They all were 60% romance and 40% sports.)

If u still confused about what sports drama should look like...u can try some Jdramas.

there are more, all i m saying is romance is/must never be the centre theme of sports drama ( not saying it shouldn't exist)

i am glad they didn't add SPORTS tag for this series, i would have been pissed. This is purely a romance drama....ML can't do nothing without FL being involved. The character got no motivation of itself.

That's why sports and romance should never go hand in hand, not saying they shouldn't exist at all....but romance should stay in BG as far as possible.....And i guess only Jdramas are good at doing this & sometimes c-dramas. ( kdrama could never do that & never will )

yeah they always forgets to show the main thing, which is an essential Point of views.

If ML had been blind, i bet she would feel annoyed that he doesn't LOOKS in her while talking or while making romantic statements. xD

In jdramas , its always that 3rd guy( or 2nd ML) who had stayed with Main leads from the start with whom FL always cheats with or marries. Its annoying in its own way (makes FLs more pathetic ). Just make a little effort & introduce a new character for fck sake.

why kdrama introduces romance sub plots if they don't bother enough to even make a good progress on it properly.... just don't introduce it, can't they all just be friends for fck sake.

They just wanted to Write another 'hometown cha cha cha' i guess......so writer only goal was to bring FL back to village (No matter how stupid the setup is going to be), and then leads will do some dramatic romance and The END. So don't worry about it :)

i think they should never allow kdrama writers to make a sport dramas....Only jdramas are better at making sports genre. Here they never have acceptable plotholes in their stories in kdramas.

So other things apart from sports are fine right?

Just started this drama.....first 5min, skinny girl beating a muscled prof estomata. Really?? , is it gonna be like this all further episodes??

They angry because it wasn't one of those "Fluffy over the top- exaggerated Romance BS' dramas.

if they gonna introduce bunch of new randomass characters back to back then why not just make it a 14 or 16 episods season, it's like I was wasting my time caring about the characters which I don't care about.

i am not expecting something 100% new, but at least it shouldn't be 50-60% similar, its sets me off. Whats the point if i can predict 30mins of the content in 45mins episode.

These kdrama love stories man.....they always take all the drama one notch further as the story progresses and enters some TOTALLY UNREALISTIC zone.
Well... i haven't finished watching this drama as i lost all interest at some point (Not in actor's acting level, they are the best of the best, but the freaking plot)........but i bet that they must have used all sorts PLOT DEVICE to justify everything in favour of FL and ML leads. [ like there was some AMNESIA blsht xD ??.or treating other side characters as total NPC (just use and throw them)....i am not even surprised. ]

And what about the leads??.....did they "lived happily ever after" or "one of them died ?" ( there can't be any other Ending than this.....if the writer wanted to keep it TYPICAL 0__0).
So how it was? (you can Spoil/Spill the beans , dc )

I was thinking of binge watching this show after all eps are released....guess I won't anymore! :) Seeing certain clips & reviews/disscussions I knew the writer messed it up... and that Drama is Done for.
