The ending was totally PERFECT!!!! I've seen so many people complaining about the ending before I start watching the show and I thought the ending will be bad but it was totally different.. People are talking like the queen wasn't there through the whole show and only appeared in the end, but that's not true, she has been there all the time but Jang Bong Hwan was just in control.. One more thing the people that didn't like the ending must be thinking the King's feelings were towards Jang Bong Hwan, but it's not true, the king loved the queen and the queen only, I know that Jang Bong Hwan played the biggest part in that, but still that changes nothing, the king still loves the queen.. Imagine if Jang Bong Hwan did the same thing for the king but in his true form will the king have fallen in love with him, ofcourse not.. And the last thing, the fact that they didn't realize he was gone, except the queen, is for me the best ending, I LOVE IT.. Jang Bong Hwan wouldn't be staying forever, he will have to wake up and leave them at some point, there's no point in letting them know, they didn't say good bye coz he was never being there, it has been always the queen for them, all the amazing things he did it was the queen and so it should stay.. I know Jang Bong Hwan was left alone, but he came alone in the first place too, people shouldn't expect him to stay in a place he doesn't belong.. I really loved the phrase he wrote on the stone, and sums up everything " I CAME HERE FOR NOTHING!" Brilliant T^T Thank you Jang Bong Hwan for being the hero who saving the day without being noticed
Mr Queen thank you for gracefully ruining every historical kdrama I've ever watched and will watch in the future, coz they'll never be as good as you T^T
I lowkey wanted for the queen to comeback earlier but I don't mind this one too.. And tho I'm just starting it, but I already expected that, in these kind of dramas they always get back in the end
I'm not saying it's a BL I was asking that in case the man soul fell in love with the king and Yuri clarified it for me.. The King is attracted to a woman which it totally fine but I meant the other side.. Anyway everything is clear now, I'll go watch it coz Shin Hye Sun is one of my favorite actors and her acting is amazing
That's not annoying to me, I like the writers narration.. If he, the queen, fell in love with the king that would be considered BL to me, and I don't watch BL.. but now I think I can watch it
My style of watching dramas is that I ignore everything that doesn't make sense like a dozen of people with guns still miss 2 people in front of them lol.. I just enjoy watching my favorite actors coz most of the time I start dramas for the cast not the plot.. The first 2 episodes were so good and there's no lag in story progression, and the action scenes were so good too.. The camerawork in action scene is getting better through all the dramas, Uncanny counter, LUCA, and here too

I just finished this drama and right now I'm in the state of " What should I do with my life now" lol, This drama is definitely 10/10 for me.. I don't give 10 for any drama, all my favorite dramas I give 9.5, the remaining 0.5 contains a lot of things.. I give that additional 0.5 when I'm so attached to the drama, when I feel so empty when I finish it, when I learn so much from it and changes a lot in me, when I love everyone in that drama, the good and the bad ones, the bad ones too cause their acting was so good that we had a love-hate relationship, it's hard to fulfil all these things.. Everyone in this drama was so good, their acting was amazing, through the whole drama I felt like it's a chess game, the story progression was so smooth and the villain was so cool, I love cool villains, she is my favorite villain of all time.. And the beautiful Im Soo Hyang that I started this drama for, her acting really blow my mind, she delivered the emotions so well, so does everyone in this drama.. I miss them already, I'll definitely be watching this drama again sometime in the future
