The ending both real and unrealistic reality. Why how can you ask someone you love not to love someone else when…
But she is young and loves like a kid, totally and selfishly asking for all she can get and beyond. She does not have the chance to grow into a commonsensical and slightly hypocritical mature person like us.
I agree with you and especially with your second statement- I was literally thinking the same, he looked so peaceful…
Sorry to say, but in that scene I am more upset with CFY. His gullibility borders on stupidity. He was in a hotel room and more than often hotel rooms are used for deliberate discrediting someone's reputation, esp in case of celebrities. That's why I hope that this event will help him mature faster.
Let's not overlook some positive aspects of this experience in the development of Chen Feiyu's character and career. This lesson will help him mature faster, hopefully make him more careful with who he meets and whom he trusts. One thing is certain: no more selfies in hotel rooms or bedrooms. It's painful to see in those pictures how he sleeps like a gullible baby next to a suspicious & conniving woman. This looks like a scene in a drama of poor taste. I am inclined to hope that on this occasion, he will know how to take advantage of his notoriety, acquired even with this sordid event. So I don't think that his career will suffer, on the contrary, as they say in my country: a kick in the ass is a step forward.
I agree with you on HJS, did not like it. But this one is on the playful side, innocent, while a bit angsty. You have to watch the first 5 eps, that were annoying for some viewers (not to me), but those are important as the prologue to the "real story" starting from ep.6. If you watch MFS, let me know yr impression.
Well, it also had a wild following at the end of 2020, collected over 12000 comments, viewers mesmerized with the main leads (also very pleasing to the eye), chemistry galore and compelling story. But the subject is of a different nature, the drama is a Thai "lakorn" (a special genre, containing in addition to romance, a comical revenge, slap & kiss evolution etc etc). I found it extremely charming and added it to my all time favo list, among : "Coffee Prince", "Loving, never forgetting", "Que sera, sera". Of course the list also contains this "Lighter & Princess"
Their acting is the reason behind the success.Their good looks wouldnt make it as successful as it is now. Many…
True, their kissing scenes were not steamy & cheesy, but again, due to their young age and beauty. You can see him in a 2019 movie "My best summer", college years, also the genius of the class, also deskmate of a sweet classmate => https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7EwtAqhWb4
The rewind scene at the end was magical. I have to say it again, these two main characters could be just sitting in their chairs staring at us, pulling their pouts and glances, and we'd still be glued to the screen for hours watching them ... or, is it just me ?
Stories and concepts need not be entirely unique. It's the treatment of it, that makes all the difference. For…
Well, so many comments displaying your talent for critical reviews of what makes of a drama a good and successful show, the importance of collective effort etc etc. I agree with them all. I watched many good college and university dramas, genius student sitting next to an innocent girl, first love etc. Those are usually good, and this one ranks on top within this category. But I was going beyond that. I was talking about their special yet simple natural beauty, not at all "gorgeus" but unusually magnetic and magical. You may consider that the success of the shows is due to the talent of all participants, praise the collective effort. I totally agree. But I was talking about what struck ME as the most powerful asset that made the difference in the success of this good drama, compared to other also good dramas.

In my opinion, their "chemistry" was nothing special, innocently natural, easily deriving from their physical personality. I consider that they have that kind of excess likeability, that makes the chemistry possible, due to everyone responding to them. Just imagine a girl that would not have chemistry with LX.

I admit, drama is among the good ones, nothing compared to many annoying and painful to watch series. As for the protagonists, I wasn't talking about mere looks, I was praising their special beauty, their vulnerability, their magnetic charm through which they were able to induce the audience's addiction. This is their merit, their individual gift. The word talent is only a word, it is not so important, and is probably contained in what I intended to say.
I am surprised that nobody has said it yet. The story is interesting, but not out of ordinary. To me is clear: 98% of this drama popularity and success is due to the looks of the leads.
He (LX) is demonically handsome and has that type of charisma that induces an almost dangerous likability. Attitudes regarded as irritating at others (impertinence, arrogance, smirks), in his case are adding to his charm. Everyone is charmed, regardles of gender, age, intelligence etc. Even I, a respectable baboushka, find myself with an inexplicably stupid smile on my face every time he appears in the action.
She (ZY) has a natural yet delicate crystalline beauty conveying a special vulnerability that prompts everyone (also regardless of gender, age, intelligence etc), to be on guard in order to catch her so as not to fall and brake in pieces. Yes, looks do indeed matter. But I have nothing against it, I also like beauty!
Is anybody else finding the FL super annoying ? Her mature looking face is in total contradiction with her voice of a spoiled child, with her infantile outbursts of crying or hysterical laughter. It is painful to watch.
Of course. They are fated to each other. Age gap does not matter. What matters is that he is taller, protective of her and they fit under one umbrella. All in all a nice, clever and sweet story, with some bitter ingredients.
I think that the death of the kid was the result of the omen placed by the evil boss Choi, being his karma (don’t know exactly what this is), thus his sordid lie of 10 years ago turning into profecy. The loss of his grand daughter is his punishment.
That's why I hope that this event will help him mature faster.

One thing for sure, that law will not pass.

a movie, where he again is the genius of the class and the deskmate of a innocent sweet girl.
