I watched many good college and university dramas, genius student sitting next to an innocent girl, first love etc. Those are usually good, and this one ranks on top within this category.
But I was going beyond that. I was talking about their special yet simple natural beauty, not at all "gorgeus" but unusually magnetic and magical.
You may consider that the success of the shows is due to the talent of all participants, praise the collective effort. I totally agree.
But I was talking about what struck ME as the most powerful asset that made the difference in the success of this good drama, compared to other also good dramas.

In my opinion, their "chemistry" was nothing special, innocently natural, easily deriving from their physical personality.
I consider that they have that kind of excess likeability, that makes the chemistry possible, due to everyone responding to them.
Just imagine a girl that would not have chemistry with LX.

I admit, drama is among the good ones, nothing compared to many annoying and painful to watch series.

The story is interesting, but not out of ordinary. To me is clear: 98% of this drama popularity and success is due to the looks of the leads.
