I liked this drama so much, that I decided to watch all the drama directed by Chu Yu Ning. Surprise, surprise ... they are nowhere near the quality of of The Rose. They are actually very stupid and boring. How come ? Are they made by the same person ?
Impressive ! A lascivious atmosphere filled with erotic tension, but all so delicately calibrated. The rhythm and the dreamlike pace of the story so well rendered. The acting was superb and both Chen & Cheng carried the show on their shoulders. I am surprised it is not considered a masterpiece (at the level of Bertolucci, Varda). The subject is universal. Reminded me of classical French and Italian movies of the '50s.
Honestly, I disagree with the opinion that Kao isn´t good to play Paengs. I tried to imagine many actress in…
Totally with you regarding Kao; except that IMO I have a different scale for Mark's chemistry: 1. hopefully with Kim; 2. with Kao; 3. with YaYa; 50. with Mew.
Well, it seems that this drama is keeping us all on our toes to the last episode, which is a credit to the writers. Usually in lakorns the drama gets more and more complicated, reaching so many tangles and convolutions, that in the end there is no other choice but to to quickly deflate the action into a a disappointing Pfffsst …
Ha-ha, from preview, even if I do not understand Thai, seems that Arthit took some action . He is not stupid, so he could not believe that Paeng does not love him.
This separation is not Paeng's fault. Parents are sacred there. It is a proof of her love for Arthit that she does not want to separate mother and son. From now on, the only one who has the power to convince maman and prove his love, is Arthit. Poor Paeng did all beyond her powers: annihilated Annaconda, risked her life, etc etc. It's your turn now, Arthit ! Don’t'just be handsome ! Raise to Paeng's level to deserve her !
ahhh... i’m so frustrated with this drama. it coulda been the best drama to dropped this year but these few…
Responding to yr pnts 1 & 4 =>There is a very THIN line btw Love and Hate. IMO, for Arthit it started from the moment she came back after 5 years, used the wheelchair to torture her, which showed that he was intrigued by her, then by her indifference, then by Non's interest etc etc. By the time he realized it, Love was there, but he was still calling it Hate ... So indeed it is a case of "smooth transition". Paeng never stopped loving Arthit, it was "fate", but "guilt" confused her and she found protection in "indifference". Kao does it very well.

A Happy New Year to you and your loved ones !!!!
