Mmh people are acting like antis... calling an actress out of her name is not being chill and I will not be silence in the name of freedom of speech..a lot of other people have also voiced their concerns about this place starting to be toxic due to the excessive negativity it's not just me,read the comments!

The relief you all are talking about is for her to accept his heart bcoz he doesn't want friendship,he wants to be with her and she has every right to say no if that is the path she doesn't want to take for now,it's not a crime.

Honestly when a character does not go my way the first person I look at is the director and writers bcoz actors are at their mercy.
Seeing excessive criticism to her and her character had me wanting to defend her.
The script hasn't changed up to now.she knows regardless of what they feel their romance is doomed

There are people here calling her out of her name,the b word just read all the comments from the last two days

..I said people are free to comment but Be respectful and if the show is no longer for someone they should move on Freely no need to be toxic or repetitive it's exhausting to others

Many of us really like the show and like to discuss the plot and theory without being toxic or repetitive.

Regardless of how good the ML is the FL knows that being with him will lead to her and her entire family 's death because they can't stop the major scenes from the SCRIPT from happening.
They haven't been able to stop any major scenes xo far despite all the change in characters behavior.

She is pushing him away for both their sakes.Will you still be with a guy without hesitation just bcoz of feelings even if it cost you everything? BECAUSE the script will go as planned regardless.She is not an idiot.

She went back to save him,ran after him and was scared for him when she realized he might die.Just bcoz you love each other doesn't necessarily mean you should be together.She knows the love she wants will come at a cost and she is trying to avoid that cost.
If she runs to him straight away after finding out the truth without hesitation knowing what the future holds that would have been more unrealistic.

I think by now we all know that she love him and cares that's why she went back for him,run after him when she saw blood in her hands and cried when she thought he died.
She is pushing him away bcoz regardless of how good and genuine he is the script will still find a way to play the major scenes just like before which will lead to the her death and her family death (they can't control these major scenes)
The ML won't leave her unless she act like he has no Chance with her.
She is acting from a place of reason

The reason is it's the palace and there is a fight for power and crown price position...we see this even in kdrama.
The ML has his people who aren't the King's people so obviously they will crash and try to take him down.
Remember the Kiing prefer. The other son and is evil enough to blame his son the death of the woman he loved.
Some kings In real history even kill theirs siblings after taking the throne to prevent future rebellion even when their siblings were innocent

The FL does what she does bcoz of the initial episode and what she knows.Plus her attitude has changed for the better after getting all the facts and realizing her feelings

The directors know it's absurd but keep doing it.😂,I love this show...all Chinese drama fans should watch it.

Both leads were epic,liyitong with the scene of trying to revive the ML and liuyuning 's scene of rejection..kuddos to them
This is the first drama ever that has truly captured how the 2nd ML turns to a bad guy with perfection and motivation even if misguided and misplaced
Can't wait for tomorrow episodes

Whoever wrote the angst in this drama has attended a master class in this area.
Angst hasn't hit me this hard and this good for a long time,the kind that makes u remember a drama for a long time.
My fingers and toes are crossed for a good ending for all our leads and side characters,I won't be able to handle anything less.

Continue watching,for me it started really catching My attention from episode 13

I think the writer and director let us fans and the FL down by the way they wrote her character....they should have tried to show her motives from somewhere other than knowing the script or show growth...they were able to do it for the 2nd FL ,I don't know why they dragged it with the FL,she should have been in the loop by ep 17 but I still love her and everything about the show

Up to now the show has delivered for me honestly,am eagerly waiting for today's episode,how will they save 2nd master?!

If it continues like this ,I will give it a 10 at the end of the show.
It's storyline is really different and engaging especially from episode 13 onwards

LMAO this drama is angst,tragic and heartache bomb wrapped together perfectly and presented to you initially like a candy bar 😁
It hurts so good, the motivations have depths
That all being said, it's currently my favorite drama this. Year hands down
Liuyuning made a great choice choosing it,it showed cased his acting skills

I love them both so much but I think this one has a more complex story and detail character traits .......liuyuning characters has more layers and room to show so much more range

She is going with what she knows from the script and based n how hard it is to change the script as shown in episode 1 she is sensible.
But from ep 11 she got an opportunity to see his side of the story and her views are starting to shift

8.5 🎊 the drama deserves ,it keeps getting better.
Okay after reading some comments I have realized,currently in the drama we are still in the past,the scenes from the wedding and after it that occured in episode one haven't occured yet.Which means they can occur and the script can still go as planed by the script writer....all the betrayal and angst might still be coming which would be genius bcoz I think most of us think we have escaped that story...based on comments the female lead can't control herself in the trailer for ep 17 which means we might be heading towards conflicts, heartbreak and the heavy stuff.
