The casting director really needs to take a bow!!! They did a fantastic job! Every single actor played their part…
True like all of them deserve to get offers for lead roles or very meaty support role in big budget dramas..I will b following the careers of all characters played by the Gong brothers ,Jin fan, elder Yue and all the Back hill young masters
Last point The show introduced me to a lot of incredible actors I will follow for a long time....became a fan of Esther and ZLH through this show..will definitely watch out for the second leads next drama.....will definitely follow the careers of all the characters played by the back hill young masters especially elder Yue and young master Hue and definitely our bodyguard Jin fan and last but not least GYZ he needs to b cast in a dark drama Fu of plotting and actions,he has a talent for it.... LIKE I said it was a perfect cast
Its sad saying goodbye,I will Miss it a lot,got very attached and will visit in the future once a while ......it was great a real MASTERPIECE minus the last minutes of epi 24😋😍✌️

I strongly wish for a spin off with the back hill young masters and all the gong brothers taking down the wufeng gang and finally b able to live beyond the back hill. I felt so sorry that all the men ended up alone and lonely or sad....all their last scenes remembering their lives ones in epi24 and that ending left my heart broken and seriously pissed wufeng is still at Large ThE FIGHT SCENES I HV never seen a show xo capable of delivering such amazing fights like episode 22 to 24 the fights were top notch like wow...young masters Yue fight in epi22 and the fight against the evil elder bother in epi24 take the cake for me THE PLOTTING Wow I HV to give a 10 ..all the reveal and plotting from episode 21 to 24 by the gong brothers and the evil elder brother HY were worthy..cinema or movie worth 2FL plotted till the end,😁at least her turning back to her dying wufeng master gave her some redemption but still she is not trustworthy THE LOVE All the love storyline of all the gong and back hill young masters were xo heart wretching,I really wish they were happier in the end THE BROTHERS I loved GZY being really worthy at the end and GSJ helping....I really loved the gong brothers and young masters fighting together the enemies....it was really epic THE DEAD Sad for lady wujin,master Hue and elder Yue lost partners..the death of the elder and his son..like I feel depressed..they all deserve to b happy

The ending especially the last minutes could hv been better (am frustrated a bit with it) BUT it is a heart wretching show to remember for a while with a lots of precious characters (almost everyone) which is rare

I really hope Esther does what yang min did and transition into more serious roles like this one in her future drama She really did really well here and showed another side of skills.She was never in my radar before due to how they type cast her but this show made me a fan. All his upcoming drama he plays a somewhat grey characters from grand princess to Story of kunning palace,it will b interesting to see.....but I adore him as a green flag too
Why won't the main leads agree to star in the second season?
I think mostly is scheduling conflicts,FL is actively filming a drama and ML is about to begin filming another drama for 4 months..GYZ character is filming xo is character by master Yue
Omg when u keep watching u actually feel bad for lady wujin and understand her especially with the back story at ep20 but then again there was no way out with what she did. All or most of the female assassins are victims of wufeng wufeng are really evil,this is why am mad at the ending😖😖 Let me continue epi21
He can't leave or go that far as a SW..he has secrets written on his back and a major target for assassins.....but then again I guess it's what the director wanted bcoz she could hv gone with guards but that would not hv serve the purpose of leaving us with a shock of an ending
