I'll recommend a drama that isnt quite similar but is honestly worth your time... a new ongoing drama called "river where the moon rises" the female lead character is amazing. I highly highly recommend it!!!
Once my Team Seojun heart decided to accept defeat and once I finally was okay with Suho and Jukyeongs relationship the producers decided to revive the Team Seojun in me. Listen I already know that I'm going to be traumatised and absolutely devastated. I'm not even exaggerating. I'm the type of person to put myself in a person's shoes and honestly, at this point, it feels like Seojun is just being set up for heartbreak this entire drama. I know that we don't know how this drama is going to end so I'm just gonna keep my expectations low and just assume Team Suho will win. ??

also I disagree with your last point. getting abused by your parent doesnt lead to this kind of behaviour. and it doesnt justify all the twisted shiz she is doing other "friend". her getting abused and her bullying her friend are mutually exclusive.
I don't understand how people are still sticking up for Soojin after all the things she had put Jugyeong through. Being a toxic human being is not justifiable. Whether or not he has been abused by her father does NOT justify her actions. From trying to ruin JG and Suho's relationship, throwing away JG necklace that Suho gifted and then using her friend's insecurity and broadcasting the past she wanted to be forgotten to the entire nation. And what is worse is that she is doing this all without JG knowing. JG is oblivious to it and she is using JG naivety to ruin her life. She hasn't yet revealed this face to JG. It reminds me of the saying "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer".
I feel like Soojin started with her snakey business when she saw that the Suho that never ever got along with anyone started to interact more with JG. Was it just me that got a certain vibe from her in the beginning. Her helping JG and all were amazing but I still got a vibe especially when she blamed Suho for being the top of the class. How does she call herself Suho's friend when she blames and constantly shouts at him for getting top grades. I get that she gets abused but Suho literally put all his work to study.. the least she could do is praise him for getting top grades and maybe ask if they could be study buddies or something.
Also with her encounter with Suho, I was so happy to see that he could see her other face.
Another thing that annoyed me regarding Soojin is that she took a picture of Seojun and sent it to others without his permission. I want Seojun to find out about what she did to JG and scold her badly. Seojuns scolding hit different lol it must hurt.
