The romance was REALLY not necessary and annoying (so cheesy that I even skipped it at the end cuz I couldn't anymore) and the acme of the plot was a bit dull but still, I really liked the drama because of Cha Tae Hyun and Jung Jin Young synergy :)
I just watched for fun and I dunno any of the contestants. I prefered PNation style on ep 12-13 : they give me savage/passionate vibes, they have crazy good dancers + PNation did a good choice of songs (I didn't like JYP remix) + the fact that the contestant could make the first composition was really cool) It's a question of taste, I don't think it's popularity (even the ep 12 you could see some JYP contestant were more popular)
Anyway, all of them must be under great pressure and the elimination process during live show is really harsh :(
... that Jun Ho doesn't do a runner himself. It would break my heart to have Ho Yeol have to chase him down. Anyway,…
haha I'm more into thrillers so I prefered his role in Prison Playbook :p (aaaah the scene with his brother when the realize he's been betrayed by everyone T.T)

After a part of the generic, we see the guy who enjoyed going to comic con with the deserter. He is also bullied by his unit. He takes off a tommy gun (sorry I'm not English speaker so maybe it's not the right word) and he shoot at his comrads. AAAAAH it was so sad, but very good serie :x

I think he deserted. The ending after the credit shows no ambiguity about the sad ending for everyone. And after seeing his friend shooting himself I'm pretty sure he went : "f*ck this I'm out"... it wouldn't make sense to stay, as everytime he caught someone during this serie, he realized that running away was justified. He didn't enjoy doing it at all (remember the discussion he had with his partner about chasing deserters beeing "funny")
Its actually the same for other dramas too. I guess it all goes down to people's preferences. People shouldnt…
We don't have the same use of MDL and it's fine :) but I'm not the only one to proceed this way.
I'm a HUGE C-Drama and K-drama watcher, but I don't have the time to watch it all so I trust the rating to help me (still, I LOVE the one hour episodes, and the 80 episodes for C-Drama hahaha)
if you a MDL user, you know that usually 6.6 is a very bad note for a K-Drama, it doesn't mean "not great, but fine". "not great but fine" is precisely when I start watching out of curiosity (at 8)
Anyway, the staff said the rating will be fixed somewhat somehow, so let's just wait until the end :)

I disagree. When I wanna check new drama, I do research on drama list and my research starts with the themes AND the rating... I would clearly reject 6,6 drama, as I only watch 8+ rating drama...
Man I had such high hopes for this drama. There’s like no good Idol dramas honestly, and I was like 100 sure…
I think your comment is pretty harsh, this is only the first episode and it's an "exposition" scene, why are you so angry ? :o maybe you could at least wait for 3-4 episodes before jumping into this kind of conclusion? Anyway, have a good day :)
For me, this is the best drama airing atm (with Happiness haha)

it feels more like some antis operation and it's just lame.
