Here is what I've read in this comment section : ppl who didn't like the drama (and I didn't like it) have buttplug, they should "move the f on" instead of writing criticism, they should watch rom-com, they don't know what sci-fi is, they are something like "korean snowflakes doing cancel culture" (lmao)

Find me ONE comment, where someone who liked the drama was insulted. JUST ONE.

Criticism and other points of views helps ME, because I didn't like the story, but I couldn't point out why, and now I know better.
And if you're scared of watching something because some other didn't like it, that just makes you a sheep, not a smart person.

In the reviews there was an interesting critic and some weirdo just felt right to insult the writer.
Here in the comment section, some people praising the drama (which I understand), can't stop themself from targeting those who didn't, as if they were wrong.

I'll say it again to people who didn't watch the drama : this is a "double or quits", you might really love it, or not at all.
And that's OK cuz we aren't robots.
Then on MDL we can share our thoughts on the story to sharpen it, and discover other stories from people we share the same taste with.

I didn't like the drama and I'm a huge sci-fi reader. Don't tell me to watch rom-com and learn to respect other's opinion.

Some ppl loved the drama, some really didn't.

Aaaah I started the show cuz I really love Lee Do Hyun + I enjoy mathematics (how lucky am I with this combo - yeehaaa !)

but here I'm at ep 12 and I can't immerse myself in the plot anymore :( I'll still go to the end cuz... I really love Lee Do Hyun !

For now I'm not really enjoying the show yet because I feel it lacks some internal logic and it disturbs me - I'm at ep 5 so I'll watch til the end cuz I might change my mind, who knows :)

When I share my thoughts or when I read constructive criticism on MDL, it helps me to understand and express precisely why the stories moved me... or not.
And I really enjoy the fact that we don't have the same opinion on stories - or every stories would have the same structure and life would be boring haha

Criticism is not "toxic", unless it's not based on any ground. And talking about it doesn't mean anyone is "wrong" or "right", but that we have different perspectives to share.
Some loved it and I understood their point, and some didn't and I also get their point.

I get you, but do you remember how they violently crashed at the first episode and now they keep on running everywhere, jumpimg, falling, doing chirurgical operation as if they've just woken up ? I get they are under pressure so they put their last effort in it, but they don't even seem to be under pressure.

Are they Terminator ? it's just crazy to me haha
I feel it lacks some internal logic, and it could have been so much better if they "humanized" those characters.

I know my criteria is weird, but this is why I'm not enjoying totally the drama : I can't identify to any character at all.

I think we didn't have to know him, as the murderer wasn't important at all in this affair.
The focus was on how unfair and how far justice could go wrong (and it did go really far oO)

it's funny because I was watching Happiness in the same time and I thought Happiness ending was rushed and meaningless while everyone loved it.

Now it's the opposite : I loved the end of OOD and I see many people didn't. To me, it had to end this way or it would have been draggy. I really loved what the ending bought us.

I'm just REALLY sad for Ji Tae = he was a mirror reflection of what Hyun Soo could have become if he stayed in jail. And as a symbol maybe, he died because it's a dead end.

Anyway, I want to keep it has it is : we stopped at Hyun Soo beeing a free loner on the top of a building, watching the city night. He could become everything, from lawyer (what a great trio it would be haha) to thug (let me be noir til the end haha), or he could fall down.

I believe he's a mirror reflection of what Ji Tae could have become if he was free. So he'll be great :)
And I'm happy this thought is running free in my mind.

I was about to throw my screen from the window during last episode, but my heart is finally at peace hahaha
This is the drama I enjoyed the most this year :)

I loved all the drama overall, but the last episode was rushed and they could have done so much better with the secondary characters, so I was kinda disapointed in the end
(but still, it's a must watch to have a good time :)

I'm currently watching One ordinary day - the last ep are coming this week - if they don't rush it, this would be the best 2021 to me hahaha

I really loved the drama overall, but here is what I'm a bit sad about :
- the last episode. It was as if the director got a memo "hey this is the last episode", so everything was packed up, each character's plot was happily resolved, without letting anything for the viewer to think about.

- I would have loved a longer serie in which the director could take the time to developp the secondary characters (like in Sweet home for example :3)
