I have the same feeling, as if suddenly we lost the characters and it was just fanservice
(my words are harsh and maybe wrong cuz I don't speak english fluently.
Anyway, I truly love those actors and this serie so it's ok for one ep haha )

I get what you mean, but I rather not try to dig more because if we start talking about incoherence in zombie movies it doesn't have end : there are scenes where zombies are litteraly bleeding into their mouths when they fight + their fingers have never been bitten, even though they where unprotected and so on.
So to me the hankerchief scene was ok. Let's just say that there was also a piece of flesh on the furniture so the blood was still fresh and she really rubbed it on the wound haha :D

(the water supplies is the biggest question mark for me :D)

I think it wasn't dried : she took the blood by swipping her hankerchief on a bloody furniture in the room + she took the time to make it penetrate the wound

I was also frustrated about that part : they made a whole scene about "how to go to the toilet" and "we can't leave without food"
- and I thought "for once they'll be a bit realistic yay !"
Then for the whole serie no more primary needs, no one has to drink nor pee nor eat (except the chocobar FINALLY haha).

Plot twist : they were all half-zombies \o/

I think the more you watch, the more you seize all the characters and you come to like some of them.
But I agree with you : the background stories weren't really well build up (but some of the actors made a really good job so it's still pleaseful to watch !)

If you like zombie movies, as I do too : I think it's a really distracting one and the main story has been dug pretty well, despite some plot holes.

agree !! I really liked the "chemistry" he had with every other characters.

As a tomatoe movie I enjoyed it a lot :
- some jumpscare can make the pop-corn fly
- zombies were well done, I enjoyed their speeds + the "realism" of some scenes
- the sound effect full of guttural voices and cracking bones put me in the mood (buuuuuaaaaaaaah)

To put some nuances
- the plot had some frustrating holes in it
- some cheesy parts were... really too cheesy for me
- Lee Cheong San was my favorite character T.T

I'm binge watching AiB and I wanted to react to your comment.
- usually I'm a kdrama watcher, but I recently started Jdrama and I disagree with you.

I loved Squid Game, but I also loved Alice in Borderland. And it's logical to compare them because they both are survival games stories that came recently on Netflix.

I prefered the camera work, the background atmosphere and the actors playing in Squid Games.
But I prefered Alice in Borderland in terms of plot development + I felt it was more "rough" (which is a quality to me) + the philosophical metaphors were well diluted between action scenes + the scenes were less predictable and the side characters had more depth.

But that's only my opinion, and I'm happy we don't have all the same preferences or life would be boring :)

They didn't justify it more than that cuz that was not the purpose of the movie, but as a sci-fi lover, I get you !

Here is what I think :
As Hina's brother said when they meet again at the beggining of the movie (22min02 to be precise haha) "In the world you know, I'm dead".
Usually time travel movies imply parallel dimensions, so that makes everything "plausible".

Anyway I just saw the movie and I LOVED IT haha

Finished watching both seasons + some movies and I really loved it :)
My fav characters are Smokey and Murayama
- and also Hisako Asahina (Yamato's mother), cuz I like all the scenes when she appeared :)

My fav ST are Doberman Infinity - Jump Around
& Valentine feat. RUI & Afro Jack - Break Into The Dark
