So can't say he meant this but didn't mean that. Like I said before, she should've opened up nonetheless, but it doesn't justify the betrayal she faced instead. It's not easy for people with trauma is all I am saying. Specially in a society like Korea.

As someone who suffered from depression, a response like "I cannot imagine you depressed because you look so happy" would make me think they wouldn't understand me. People who suffer from depression often get these comments from relatives and friends which further shuts them down. I agree she should have been upfront about this but it doesn't warrant the betrayal she faced in life by the two people closest to her.

Imagining, if I was a man and found out my kid is not mine then I will ask my wife about it straight and try to get to the bottom of things if she denied it. Hire a detective or something to find out what happened. Not go and cheat on her with her bff and act like I am my twin brother when she suspects us or get a place under my wife's father's name where I will meet my mistress.

Because mental health issues is a big stigma in korean society. She has been bullied in the past because of this and her stepdad asked her to never mention it again to anyone because of the extreme bullying. Also, she did try to bring it up once when she tested waters and asked her husband what would he think if he ever found out she has issues too and he responded with "I cannot imagine you being depressed because you look so happy"....

I just want JW to be free of all this bs at the end and live her life healing from all the trauma and away from the people used her and betrayed her.

And let's be real, no good guy's response to finding out that the kid they raised is not their bio kid is cheating on their wife with the wife's bestie and take on the persona of his twin to avoid suspicion. Because wtf who does that?

Sorry but in my opinion it is beyond repair. Cheating and sleeping with your wife's best friend while gaslighting her into thinking you are your dead twin is not something people can come back from easily. You can have a different opinion but I think they shouldn't be together because they will never be able to trust each other fully again. Specially JW needs to find herself again and mentally heal away from all this.

I agree with you. And I hope it won't end up being that typical kdrama where ML and FL stay together anyway .

As a viewer, it's easy to sit there and talk shit about the FL judging her but for a character who is famous, has to run a major business, has mental health issues suddenly one day every shitty news is dumped on her while appearing normal for the public it's not easy keep calm and act rationally. Add a stalker to the mix and being attacked at workplace. The people who she thought were her safe space ended up betraying her and gaslighting her. Any normal person will be a wreck.

Everytime MH and SM scenes are on I feel giddy knowing the pain they will be going through in future 🤩🤩

It's 2024 and women are still being victim blamed and gaslighted into thinking It's their fault for being sexually assaulted. JW is not mentally stable right now so I am not surprised she blames herself too as she is in weak state of mind. I hope she will turn around soon and accept that it was not her fault and cuts out all the toxic assholes from her life who only use her.

The way the husband's friend referred to JW as a "bank" because she has money, just the disrespect, the way he got a house under his wife's father name to shack up with his mistress. It's just unforgiveable behaviour.

I don't think they will end up together kinda like what happened in VIP but if they do that would the most unrealistic and toxic thing for them.

Kinda weird seeing people side with a cheater and blame FL for being raped. I hope eventually they just divorce as amicably as possible and live their own lives because the relationship is beyond repair. They won't be able to trust each other in future and this scar will always be there.


Also, The FL hid her mental health history as she was severely bullied in the past because of this. People forgetting that mental health issues are still a big stigma in the Korean society. And the husband cheating with HER best friend nonetheless is so low. And that "best friend" is trash too.

She has a plan which she needs to execute without letting them know that something is up. EP 5 was more of a backstory of JW and JH. She is trying to avoid them when she can without raising their suspicions but they are not going to let her go that easy.

Unfortunately I had a "best friend" like Soo-min. She used to spread rumors about me while acting like I am her bff. She hated me being friends with anyone else other than her too. But I got lucky and moved away during high school and cut contacts with her.

I understand it can be frustrating for viewers but she can't openly confront them yet. She is trying to subtly lay a trap so us viewers need to hang in there and wait for those sweet moments 😁

Agree. She is already trying her best and made great progress imo. These leeches have been with her most of her life, it will be obviously hard to get rid of them without having them catch on that she knows everything.

I am waiting for them to cheat as patiently and eagerly as Ji Won! 🤣🤣

She is waiting for the right opportunity. She knows if she tries to rush things she will get in trouble. Because every event is linked to the next, she has to be very careful. She is hatching her plan carefully.

I have seen many people irl like Soo min. She envies JW for many reasons (if you read the webtoon you would know the main reasons) and also envies other people who get close to JW. She is like a parasite who finds a host whom she needs to survive and also sucks out everything out of that host. She also exhibits narcissistic tendencies and narcissists usually target weaker people. SM needs JW in her life to make her feel good about herself while enjoying JW's downfall.

Even though this was not BL (it's Chinese and censorship), the development of the relationship between the two MLs was like the usual Chinese censored/bromance dramas. They showed a lot of such moments in the show including in 1st ep, GY hinting unknowingly how Ye Xiaowen's name goes well with his name, Jin Beibei being jealous of Xiaowen, GY and XW being domestic (feeding strawberries, taking care of Doudou together), and GY holding XW more important to him than anyone else in his life so much as to be willing to share his salary with XW in future and wanting to make him happy all the time. It was obvious that the MLs were special to each other but it could only be bromance due to reasons we are all kinda aware of.

I loved every character, well, maybe Jin Beibei not so much. It's good that she didn't confess to Gao Yang because GY only sees her as a friend. Also, with Beibei and Jiabao both ending up in Linyang probably hints at them possibly being together in future even though she rejected him but he said he will keep trying.

The plot progressed really well IMO. It felt natural and not forced. All the actors were great in their roles. I wish they showed a little more about how Beibei, Jiabao and Mijia in Linyang and Xiaowen, Gao yang and Meng in Beijing were getting along with their university life. Otherwise a 10/10 for me.
