Im just speechless seeing how people reacting to Go eun's trauma?! They are the same people talk about Mental…
Same, imagine calling someone a crybaby for having a mental breakdown over a traumatic experience. I also don't get how they call her weak or not a strong member of the group, she is such an integral part of the team.
Definitely seems like an international fan thing as she is getting attention in SKhttps://www.soompi.com/article/1467499wpp/may-drama-actor-brand-reputation-rankings-announced-2.
I'm happy to see her that high up, she is really great and definitely deserves it.
I feel like I'm one of the few people who didn't have an issue with the bombing and/or the chairman getting killed off. I loved Goeun's countdown leading up to it, it was very symbolic. The real guy only got 7 years in prison, the show ridiculed and killed him off, choose what you like better. In the end it's a stylized show things will happen to get a certain effect, you have Doki getting beat up with an iron bat and still able to kick everyones ass and him going undercover with overexaggerated acting. The case this time was very personal to the team so it made sense to go out with a bang. It also seems that many people missed that they actually did leave boxes of evidence for the police.
Why do people hate Kang Ha Na, she is just doing her job. She is honestly a good character, you're just mad cause…
I think you pretty much answered it yourself, the taxi team is the heart of the show that's why many people find it hard to root for her character when she intervenes with their plans even if there is nothing really wrong with her, look at how many want her to join the team. I think it's more like annoyance or frustration with her character than hate, there is also the fact that she hasn't been that "useful" so far, you could take her out of the first few episodes and it wouldn't really make a difference. I think in general she is a great character with a great sense of morality but within the context of the show she just doesn't interest me that much compared to the rest.
Dogi was ANGRY this episode, loved it, him beating up the bad guys was so satisfying especially when he hit im in his crotch. Goeun's story was so heartbreaking so excited for her comeback next episode. Pyo Yejin is really killing it, I'm so glad they picked her. Loved how they muted the audio for the scene where she saw her sister it was really impactful. Goeun holding onto the band aids Dogi gave her and him being so worried and angry for her sake, I really like their relationship. Can't wait for the chairman and his people to go down, they are so despicable.
The rewatch value of this show is so high because you're going to watch it through a totally different lense, I seriously can't wait to see it again and will do so after it hopefully swept all the baeksang awards.
The best part of the show is definitely Kim Do Ki going undercover and acting like a total dork, he is hilarious. I'm still not much into the whole prosecutor storyline, I feel like the show could have done without it but we'll see where it will lead.
Now for the first time we have a revenge case that one of the members is related to and hopefully our girl Goeun is doing well, did not expect them to tie her sisters case to this. And Jo Dochul is free I guess that means we'll get more into Jang Sungchul's character, hope he gets more screentime because his character is really interesting.
I'm on episode 6 of beyond evil and I wanted to know if it's worth continuing if I didn't enjoy it that much so…
The thing is the show is not just about who has done it it's mostly about the people, their motivations, relationships, how they are affacted by all of it, how are they living with their trauma, what actions they are taking/how far they are willing to go, how is everyone related to each other. It's very character driven and if you prefer a fast paced plot and still didn't enjoy the show after 6 episodes and aren't intruiged to see the string of events unraveling then idk if it's worth continuing but imo it gets better with each episode because with every new information provided you see how brilliantly everything is connected and just how great the writing is. I'd say give it one more episode because the next one is really good, though I thought like that about every episode lol.
It's unfair indeed but she's important here so I hope we get to see more of her for the rest of eps
Yeah it definitely is the ML's story, actually the prosecutors character doesn't even exist in the original. About the 2nd FL having a lot of screentime, well she is clearly a main role too and she pretty much was the FL in the webtoon so she should be getting a lot if screentime.
Isn't it quite unfair kang hana is the main female lead but her scenes is short n her role is meaningless till…
She had a lot of screentime this episode tho, they probably used the first few to introduce the taxi team, since the revenge storylines were pretty much the main focus in those it's normal she wouldn't be needed much, her screentime is probably going to increase now.
