im sorry but that rooftop scene with Do ki and Go eun was too much for me. I kind of wanted them to get together…
Their relationship was really beautiful, they had that really sweet and comforting atmosphere around them add the rooftop scenery and sweet music to their scenes and no wonder people were rooting for them even SBS did lol.
its an unpopular opinion but I find Soo Ryeon's character a lot more interesting than any of other 3 leads :/
I totally agree but I do love Soochan with all my heart and Heetae's dad is such a great villain I enjoy his character a lot, I just don't really care much about the lead couple tbh lol.
To everyone that thinks the Do Ki-Ha Na love line is forced, I say look again. This isn’t a typical romance…
A lot of their interactions are already forced as they are and had no romantic undertones whatsoever. They never talk about anything outside of their work and don't get to know each other on a personal level you DO need that and have them interact more if you want to develop a believeable romance. They couldn't stand each other for the majority of the show and even now I wouldn't call them friends so yes suddenly pushing for a romance would feel forced. Chemistry is subjective because I never saw any between the two nor attraction, they had tension yes but it was far from sexual/romantic.
Doki and Goeun already have a good relationship where they care and like each other, it's possible he only might see her as a younger sister though they never struck me as a sibling like but their scenes could be very well taken as romantic so it's no wonder the majority of people seems to ship it.
Yeah I really don't like the shift in narrative here, the point was that the team helped those people who were failed by the law, yes revenge might not be the best option but it was never just about simple revenge, they actually saved those people when the police couldn't/wouldn't. I always liked how the show spoke for the victims so I hated seeing how they made Maria and Goeun go through that again. Ep 14 had great moments but tbh it left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth.
Not sure if I like the shift in tone which you could really feel in this episode, it makes me even more curious as to what the og writer was going for since the tone of the story was apparently a reason they parted ways.
Baek Sungmi is such a fun villain, the actress is so great I was laughing along with her lol.
It's like they spoiled us in the first half, such a shame she is my favorite along with Dogi.
That's literally the only source I found saying that and after watching episode 13 I still don't see even a hint of a love line between the two and we only have 3 episodes left.

I saw that on twitter but have yet to see an official source. It just makes zero sense to suddenly force a romance between the two especially seeing how the majority of viewers didn't want a love line or are favoring Goeun as his romantic partner so it's not like they would cater towards the viewers either.
No, not only that but if you watch the latest episode, you will be more annoyed with her since she's victim-blaming.…
I didn't say it was only that tho I feel like some things said about her are a bit exaggerated but personally I'm simply not annoyed with her character if others are fine. I'm hoping for her to get some good character development.
I guess I'm in the minority here not hating Soo Ryung, yeah kinda sucked she asked her friend to persuade the guy she just told her she likes but she is desperate and doing it to protect her family and she does feel guilty about it but some of you act like she is completely ruthless or something. I'm more annoyed with the writing tbh, why does the second female lead always have to be an obstacle well the real villain here is HT's dad.
Beyond Evil won best drama and best screenplay with unanimous votes and was short listed for every category they were nominated in + the daesang. They got 3/7 votes for best director and best new actress "losing" with only one point, Choi Daehoon had the second most votes with 2/7 for best supporting actor, Shin Hakyun got 5/7 votes for best actor (should've been unanimous too imo but still amazing lol) I feel so proud.
