I don't think it's a standard issue tbh, it's a stylized show you either like it or not, doesn't necessarily mean people who enjoy it or aren't bothered by the non realistic aspects have low standard. The team is the heart of the show for sure.

I wouldn't recommend it, it's literally a continuation, you'll miss out on character background and won't understand the cameos, references and relationships. If you however only care about the cases I guess one could but still. Season one was fun, I don't necessarily see why someone who didn't like the first season would enjoy the second, while there might be less frustrating elements in this one it still has the same essence and season one has really really good and funny episodes.

Can't help but ship them, hoping we get some subtle romance kinda like their season one scenes. They have great chemistry without even being face to face lol.

Season one had just as much plot armor and conventient and unrealistic scenes, Dogi getting the life beat out of him with an iron bat yet taking down over 10 men etc. Just think of it as a different "universe" with its own rules , I don't think they try to be realisitc and logical in every aspect to begin with.

First two episodes were great, seems already more fun than s1 and I think it has potential to be better, a big plus is definitely that we don't have a prosecutor storyline to waste time on

People hate the sfl? Lol I totally find her loveable, she hasn't really done anything bad so far and has been straight forward with her feelings. Unless it turns out she was somehow manipulative and calculating I don't see what's to hate about her. She is my favorite rn.

Apparently in the originl novel the male lead ends up with the second female lead.

I actually hope they keep the original ending, that's one of the reasons I want to give this show a try but considering this is a k-drama and they love changing stuff idk about that...
