Honestly the romance part was pretty small so I don't necessarily get how it would ruin the show as it also doesn't really take away from the overall story but maybe that's because I was never bothered by it. I agree that despite me liking them together it wasn't really needed but to me it made sense how it turned out and didn't feel forced.

For the people not liking the romance, the whole them getting together thing was so lowkey I encourage you to not drop it solely because of it, since it makes up such a little part and you'll miss out on other great scenes.

Idk whenever there is a age gap it's not unusual for the older to call the younger one a kid, I've seen plenty of romances like that before but of course you're free to feel uncomfortable. He definitely has done more for her than he should have as a mental coach, yeah it's because he saw himself in her but I think some underlying feelings could be a reason too or he simply developed feelings spending so much time with her. Anyways I agree that I would like to see Gaeul being the one to provide emotional support and more of a reason why he might like her back if he really does, all in all I don't mind them beeing paired up.

I don't mind romance between Jegal and Gaeul, they are cute imo I'm here for it, I would absolutely hate one between Dr Park and Jegal tho, idk why people seem to be more ok with that when the roles are basically the same. He was her patient and still gets counseled by her, not to forget she told him to die back then which was awful and I can't forget tbh so yeah that's the romance that would kinda ruin it for me.

The whole cast was amazing, truly one of the best ones I've seen.

I like that it seems like they are going to go more with the second season because it's definitely the better and more interesting story.

I'm not crazy about Jung Somin's acting, Yoonjung is good I trust her to do a good job especially seeing how she was captivating within 10 minutes alone. I don't see how the show would suffer as long as people are here for the story and not just the actors. I wouldn't like Naksu just staying in Mudeok's body.
