It's frustrating how a drama reaching its climax and things getting complicated as a gear up for the final is what people call a downfall. Or maybe because the first 11 episodes came with butterflies and sunshine so when things took another direction like they were supposed too they freaked out and called it bad writing. There are some sloppy writings I just can't stand. I just started this drama, currently in ep two and something one of the characters did annoyed me. What's more annoying is now the writer closed that scene without any justice to Hao Liang.
Okay so Hao Liang joins the company and meets the stup_pid, entitled and proud Chief programmer. He goes ahead to beg her for a merchandise and she politely says that she can't trade that for anything. If he really stans that idol like he claims, he would have understood how hard it is to part with your idols merch especially one that is rare to get. So instead of backing out like an adult, he lies to her about Mr Gu liking spicy food. And their colleague watches without telling Hao Liang the truth. At the welcome dinner for the new employee, Hao Liang orders spicy dishes thinking she will be able to please Mr Gu only for him to not eat anything. She now finds out that he doesn't like spicy food. She confronts the silly boy and he laughs about it and claims that she deserves it because she refused to give him the merch.. "I've only begged 3 people in my life."
What's with the entitled mentality? Is eje obligated to say yes because he begged her? The elders at the table should have cautioned him but all they did was laugh. I was also expecting Hao Liang to be furious at him and atleast, let him know she was offended but all she did was pout and move on.
