If you think about it, the reason the comment section here has fewer comments compared to In Bloosom (which I am also enjoying) iis not far fetched. First of all, most people don't like republican series as it's not always as interesting as Wuxia/xianxia/modern dramas. Secondly, the story itself is not something someone will randomly pick up especially as it has propaganda to it. I mean, most of us here in the comment section are watching it or we got drawn to it because of Yibo.

That might be true for Dilraba because the Prosecution Elite of hers was different from what she would normally act in. As a fan, I was surprised that she'll take on such a role but nevertheless, I still watched it and if you check it out on this forum, you'll see that the comments and ratings is low compared to her other shows.

But compared to her "propaganda" series and Yibo's "propaganda" series, she can easily break out from that kind of narrative. With Yibo, it seems like they are gradually molding him into a tool. It's sad really but I am pretty sure he's okay with it because if he's not, I don't see why he'll be churning out the same line of story every time.

And yes, I hope he doesn't end up with zhehan because I am still heartbroken because of that. my poor baby 🥺

So my guess is that he's trying to establish a stable and strong foothold by playing these roles that always sweeps awards at end of the year award shows. You know, those shows that grabs the CCP's attention, the ones you'll see on weibo with positive comments under it. For one, I am not a fan of republican series, but here I am, watching a republican series. The things I do for my men🥺😌 There is no one like me😭

Kimmon is the only Thai BL actor that actually has more chemistry in a striaght role than when he's playing a gay role😭 Like, after many years of being paired with Copter and their series lacking the much needed chemistry, he finally gets a new partner in A Secretly Love but the chemistry is still nowhere to be found. Then, catch him as a support character in the currently airing bl *City Of Stars* where his character is in a relationship with a transwoman and watch him actually show some realistic feelings for the first time in his years of being an actor. If he chooses to stop doing BL roles and focus on playing striaght roles, I'll actually watch it😭 With him getting another partner in *A Secretly Love*, I wonder if we'll ever see him with Copter because in as much as they always serve nothing, I still like seeing established cps on my screen.
