When I first read the novel, I was visualizing Lusi and Dylan as the leads. But since reading Rebirth of a Star General, I started hoping that Lusi choose the Star General project. After watching her in WRTW, I think she'll be magnificent in this role. Hoping so much that she'll pick RofSG!

I read it here and I think that DW is very suited for the ML. His role here (if he's indeed the ML) is similar to LBFAD. For Lusi, this would seem like eating peanuts. FL appears as a passive character but sly and smart. It's how she survived. Any other actress, this character might come out as boring and apathetic. But with Lusi's talent, she'll definitely slay this role.

I sure hope so. Gen Z was rumoured to air last March but then they said it was April. Can't really tell which is true. I'm just wishing that they'd drop at least 1 Lusi drama asap. I've been surfing the drama listings and there are some good ones but what I want to see in a drama is Lusi!

Based on my experience, no drawbacks. And I only do it to support Lusi's dramas. I don't really like Youku's drama offerings so I haven't renewed by subscription yet. Waiting for Hidden Love or any Lusi drama before I do.

I definitely will support this. Will subscribe to Youku for this drama. I do believe this will be another hit. ZL and CZY's chemistry from reuters looks great. I'm not into youth drama but for the two of them, I will support and re watch. Let July come soon!!!

Same here. I've read the novel and my brain was already visualising Lusi and Dylan as the main leads and to be honest I am not really his fan. For me, he still has a long way to go to truly reach that level that Wu Lei reached in LLTG. I'm also not a WL fan! But his portrayal in LLTG really touched me to the bone.

Yup, me too! I am also wondering why Lusi's 2 dramas are taking too long to air. Gen Z finished filming many months ago even before LLTG even aired. HL also finished like a few months ago. They're not historical and not many episodes long. They should just air them asap. Either one as long as it's a Lusi drama. I miss seeing her on my screen. I've re watched her dramas so many times already and i'm certainly looking forward to the new ones.

I think you're referring to Dafeng Guardian where WHD's rumored FL is TXW. There's another YouTube vid where his rumored FL is ZL or TXW. Just saying that if there is a choice between the two for this Salted Fish drama, I'd vote for ZL. Personally, I think she's better suited for this role. Let's wait for these are all melon.

Maybe, take it with a ton of salt. I read somewhere that the FL isn't Lusi but Tian Xiwei. She's good but I think the role fits Lusi's personality better.

I actually watched it but dropped it after 6 episodes. This is my problem. Ever since I got to watch Lusi's dramas, I became very picky with watching other dramas. I can't complete new dramas and I kept re watching Lusi's old ones. You could say I became a die hard fan. Hopefully, it will wear off after some time.
