I'd really be thrilled if Lusi joins a drama team before end of this year. I miss watching her dramas. Every C-drama I watch, I'd always think that if she is the FL, the drama could have done much better! hahaha! Please put up with me. Even though she's my bias, I don't go out of my way thrashing other actor/actress. There are several who are also talented but it's just different when Lusi is the FL.

I watch the drama in different apps and never bothered to know whether its domestic or international. As long as the app airs Lusi drama, whether it's Youku or WeTV or MangoTV I'd subscribe to watch. If the app doesn't air the drama I like then I cancel my subscription. That's how I keep my life simple. Thank you for the info though.

I'm team Lusi. I never believed those negative stuff about her. Call me biased but I will always support her. Her doing the VS in the mountains was a good thing. For me, i consider it a healing journey that she wanted to share to the public. I believe her message there is that 'even though we experience bad times, we need to keep moving and believe that things will get better'. I applaud her efforts even though cnetz slandered and spread negative rumors about her. I believe they're just jealous because Lusi dared to face her 'inner demons' head on. Ppl who are envious of her will always believe the worst of her no matter what she does so it's better for her to keep doing what she's happy doing. I think she's one rare gem in the world of C-industry. No matter how much ppl slander and throw mud at her, her talent will always shine. Now i just want LA to air ASAP!

WeTV keeps stringing us audience. Ppl subscribed when it was rumored to be released end of June but it was moved to early July. Now they're saying it's airing in September! I'm so annoyed with WeTV that i cancelled the app and subscription. What are they waiting for anyway? More investors? More publicity? More reservations?

True but Lusi has worked with an older actor before in DITK and it worked out well. Besides, this is more realistic. Most Cdramas have young CEOs. For me, this is just about the right age to be a CEO. I believe in Lusi. Whoever her ML is, she always slays her role and manages to bring out the best in her male counterparts. I just hope this drama airs ASAP!

Dang, the rating has gone down again since I last logged in. It's sad that a lot of people rated this low just bec they were not happy with the ending. I must admit that at first I wasn't really happy with the ending. I wanted a HEA with matching kids and a white picket fence house with all the trimmings. After a while, I began to appreciate the main plot of the drama which is the journey of the pearl girl. Fraught with the limitations set to women in their times, she managed to rise above her station in life improving not only her life but that of other women. It carries a special lesson for me. And Lusi, along with the rest of the crew, has done a great job. This drama is a masterpiece!

I wholeheartedly agree. It's another Lusi masterpiece. Her fellow actors really did a great job, too. I am quite annoyed with Koala for her article saying that TSOPG deserves the 6.3 douban rating. Lots of ppl agreed and even said that the script writing was messy. Hmmp! 😠😠😠I think they're too biased. Globally, it's being watched by so many ppl in many different platform. Anyway, if they don't like the story or the actors, why talk so much? Just don't watch it. Why attack Lusi and blame everything to her?

it's his way of protecting duan wu. i don't know why c drama writers always opt to separate the otp in the middle of the drama after they get together.

i think i'd do the same. it's hard to wait, the suspense is just too much for me. unless youku offers fast track again then i'd binge watch even if i have to pay

finally, ML's protective instinct has been activated 😅😅 he's not as red (flag) as in the beginning

i see your point though my fixation is still on the caring and chivalrous ML even though he is strict and cold on the outside. still, i'm enjoying the drama and i'm pretty sure, ML will be that tropey guy in the end.

i know they'll end up together, they are after all the main leads. it's just that i feel so sorry for FL's plight. i'm a die hard fan of super caring ML's even though outside they look cold. sorry, this girl has seen too few dashing males in her life LOL!!!!

😅😅😅indeed they're like thieves. best to ignore the MDL ratings because the international reviews are way beyond expectations. besides, haters will not be able to help themselves not to watch. they gotta watch if they want to criticise the drama
