I think as a supposed true god he is supposed to rule without partiality. I'm not happy with how hs character s written though. Most times he looks so undecided except when he was fighting to extend Ayin's life.

I was really pissed that Hua Shu wasn't punished with Ayin's death when she took advantage of YQ absence to execute Ayin. Really want to see the peacock clan get what they deserve in the next episodes.

Thank you for your vent! I was also frustrated with YQ and Ayin lack of communication. If only she knew what he went through to extend her life and gain Ningyun mountain for her, maybe she wouldn't have given up like that and trusted YQ more. Haist these 2 episodes were heart wrenching to watch.

Maybe to keep Ayin away from YQ since he didn't openly appreciated her while she was alive. I agree with Ao Ge hiding Ayin. I want YQ to suffer more 😪 😩 before he is forgiven. He did a lot of sacrifices for Ayin but he chose not to let her know. How would she even understand him?

I think it's a sort of sequel to ALP because it follows the story of the son of the main characters in ALP. I'm old so my memory isn't very good but I do remember the reason for the name change. Also I read they changed some parts of the novel

I think it's alright for FL to forgive him at that point bec he waited for a thousand years already for her. In the 1st eps, it was shown that he deeply regretted what he did to A Yin and have been going to the proverbial pool regularly to look for her spirit. What I want to see is the peacock queen suffering to her bones for all her scheming against Ayin.

In ep 1, she already died several times. The masked guy asked her how is it that she's there again. So I guess that means, we won't see each time she died but it has been inferred in the 1st eps.

True but for me, as long as Lusi is the FL, I'd love the drama and would always look at the positive aspects. No drama is perfect ofc but with Lusi, I can ignore the nega bec she knows how to choose her roles. I like her choices and how she pours her heart and soul into her portrayals.

LOL! True, he needs to suffer for his stupidity! I wished they'd written his character differently. WAY really did a great job here but his character lacked a backbone expected of the hero. In spite of that, I still love this pairing!

Lusi matched her voice with her character. WAY even defended her during their livestream. He praised Lusi for being able to use 4 different voices to show her character growth. Personally for me, she did great. If you listen closely, she sounded and acted like a baby with a baby-ish tone when she was a newly-hatched water beast. But as the eps progressed, her voice changed and sounded more matured and stronger.

Yes, I would love to see that also. Lusi tends to choose roles where FL has that inner strength that rises up in times of adversities. I'm guessing that's the same case in this drama. Maybe, in the 2nd half of the drama, we'd see the ML chasing after Ayin/Feng Yin for her forgiveness and love. Can't wait!
