We'll know at the end of July whether the rumors are true. Rumors in twitter said that Liu Yuning is the ML and they'll start filming at the end of July.

I'm just excited to see Lusi portraying as a professional lawyer. I bet she'd be good at it like any other character she chooses. But I trust her choices. and will always support her drama.

I read the same thing in twitter. I wished she opted for a modern drama like Hold a Court Now or even League of Legends. It's just a few weeks away when this is supposed to start filming. I wonder how they can keep it under wraps. It is not even certain whether she really chose this drama. Come to think of it. Her agency said she'd take a 2 months 'break'. Are those two months up? I don't really care who her ML is. Lusi has a knack of bringing out the best from her male leads. One great example is Lou Yizhou. He has talent and it complemented Lusi's personality so much so that they worked really well together I'm wishing they were given more screen time.

My thoughts, too. More RTZ and STT scenes would have made it awesome regardless of the plot holes and many unanswered questions as long as I see them together on screen I'm satisfied.

He's the guy who directed LLTG and if you watched their BTS you'd see how he casually asked WL and ZL to just kiss just because the audience would love it even though it's not on the script. LOL ......

True. The writer introduced characters and conflicts and then at the last part everyone alive has a happy ending regardless of their situation in the previous episodes. It's magic! LOL.....

Agree. I also wished that they should have given some background on STT. Why WSD chose her when there are others. The woman on the phone remains a mystery.

Yes, I agree! They had such great chemistry and giving them a bit more screen time would have made the drama even better.

I actually applauded XX decision to not be together with LQ. Her reasons are very practical and sound. Then suddenly, at the end of the drama, they're together? What happened to her common sense? Another inconsistency on the writer's part. But still, I loved the drama over all even though the writing wasn't that good but the cast was great, the drama turned out great.

I wanted a sweet kissing scene of the two even if it was just a peck on the lips. But I guess the writer didn't want to put emphasis on TT and TZ relationship. This is when I truly miss Director Fei. If it was him, he would have advised the couple to kiss! LOL .......... so LYZ still has to have his first kiss on-screen. Such a pity it isn't with pretty ZL.

This is actually my gripes with the writer. How can they create a conflicting character? He is considered a philanthropist and very good at charity but he refuses donations to support his work and instead sponges off his wife and master's generosity. It is indeed a weird and unbelievable character. But I don't take it to heart. After all, he's just a character created by the writer's imagination.

You're absolutely right. Again, over all the drama was great not because of the script writing but because of the casts who did a wonderful job with their characters. I can't help wishing that it would have been written better. Such an outstanding cast but the script was lacking. The only thing relatable in the drama was TT and TZ relationship. The dialogues I love. They were inspiring and full of wisdom. But like you said, very poor conflict resolution. So many things left unresolved and bam! Happy ending right away.

I don't understand how the writer made such a character. He is considered an outstanding and philanthropic person in the drama but with his family, he's so much like a jerk. How can there be so much contradiction? But the actor, WG, did a great job with his character.

I agree. I wasn't very happy with ep 38 merely bec there were no scenes of TT and TZ together. They hardly communicated even through video calls. They spent so much time on the covid crisis which could have been better shortened and allow a bit more time for the young CP. I would have preferred the ending also for them to be already a married couple even without a child. Roubecca even had a child in the ending but TT and TZ didn't even get married. Although I loved the drama over all but I felt that the ending was once again rushed. What else is new? K- and C-drama are always like this.

Me, too. I felt robbed in ep 38. There weren't scenes of the two of them together! I understand that the focus of the drama is TCM but still, they could have spent a bit more time to show the unique relationship between STT and TZ. I'm pretty sure a lot more ppl would appreciate seeing more of them on screen.

True. Their romance is much more relatable. Imagine having a boyfriend who doesn't mind your feet stinks??? LOL ..........

No. 1 was Meng Meng's suicide and no. 2 is LQ becoming a villain and yet in the end, his transition to going back to the right path wasn't believable. And there's two things I wished for the drama. No. 1 is that they at least reveal STT's origins and no. 2 is that they should have spent more time for STT-TZ relationship. But in spite of these, I quite enjoyed the drama. STT-TZ romance was just so cute that I wished they'd gotten married at the end of the drama and also had a kid like Roubecca and PS. TZ would have been an adorable father to a girl with STT's personality.

From the beginning, he does looked like the weaker link who'd be easily swayed on the dark side.
