Great insights on NN's character. I haven't really thought of it the way you've said but you do have a point. I'm beginning to see that LBY has been sacrificing so much for her. I hope she keeps her promise that from ep 33 she will treat him well that he will eventually get annoyed. I hope, too, that she'll also learn to listen and heed LBY's advice in the future since he's had more experience with court politics and is well versed on which way the wind blows in the palace (figuratively).

True. I'm almost dreading ep 40(?) where they show in the trailer the empress and consort asking her to leave the palace. Gotta get a box of tissues for that episode.

I love how QQ helped CSS see how loyal and trustworthy LBY is. She's a great friend. She says what is the truth very bravely without worrying whether she will offend CSS. Indeed, she's right. LBY has risked his life so many times to save CSS and it does not even equal half of what she's done for LBY although LBY never expect her to repay his sacrifices. He only needs her love and trust.

Where did you hear this news? This is the first time i'm hearing this. I hope not. I prefer it the same days! My goodness, they're going to make us wait a day for every 2 episodes????

There was a spoiler in youtube. YS got married but he always thought of CSS. Whenever he sees some things that are nice, he'll think of giving it as a present to CSS. I think that one of the reasons why LBY also lived far away from the capital is so that YS will not keep seeing and visiting CSS. They returned years later, accdg to the novel translations i read online, for the emperor's funeral.

I loved CSS character but I have to agree with you on this. This is indeed out of character for her. She chose to agree to the marriage with LBY initially to save her family. She even pointed out that let her be the one to suffer instead of the whole family. And now she turns around and do this. I get it that she wants to help the Empress and her dumb crown prince son. But LBY repeatedly told her to stay out of palace politics. LBY is a man of his word and at this point she should already have realized that LBY will definitely take care of this issue. TBH, I got annoyed with CSS here. LBY knowing her. sent her to stay in the Chanqui palace and sent ppl to watch the crown princess. I feel bad for LBY having to sacrifice the last of the Huo relic just to protect her. But damn, this is beyond stupidity. I wish the scriptwriters edited this scene. I often ignore plot holes and loop holes and other inconsistencies in the story. But this one is not something that can be ignored. It's HUGE! She put her entire family in danger! I get it that she's just a young teen girl but double damn, she needs to have that sense of self-preservation and not just dive into situations without asking for LBY's opinion or advise. He grew up in the palace after all and knows the intricacies and workings inside.

Agree. But then, they just got together and it will take time for them to understand and trust each other. I would love to see them go on dates and some skinship , too. But both are too busy in the palace. LOL ....

True. I understand LBY's frustrations with his inactions and taking things unto himself. Just because this ppl helped him in the past and they're family doesn't mean their wrongs can be overlooked. If the wrongs they commit endangers people's lives such as the armament fraud, regardless of family or status, they should be punished!

Agree! CSS is smart and decisive, he said so himself. Why then he keeps telling her not to involve herself in court issues but never share with her any information? He could try to be more specific instead of being vague all the time. He knows that CSS always acts on what she knows is right regardless of where she is, at home or in the palace. She has a generous heart and she won't just stand idly by when a person she looks up to as her surrogate mother is suffering. If LBY shared with her his schemes to oust the Wang family from their official position, maybe CSS could have subtly advised the same thing to the CP. Just my thoughts. Although I know that they're going to have to learn to communicate and trust each other soon, I just wish that it happens now!

It was alright for me even though there wasn't much interactions between the main CP. I'm glad that the issue of the counterfeit coin was brought to light right away. Third princess has fallen (from grace) and now it's the fifth princess in the works.
